Paris attacks: ISIS financed by 40 countries, including some G-20 nations, claims Vladimir Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has claimed that
the Islamic State (IS) terror group, which carried out
attacks in Paris that killed 132, is being financed by
40 countries around the globe, including some G-20
nations.

RT.com, online arm of the state-run Russia Today and
regarded as a mouthpiece of the Kremlin, quoted Putin
as saying that, "I provided examples based on our data
on the financing of different Islamic State
(IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) units by private individuals.
This money, as we have established, comes from
40 countries and, there are some of the G20 members
among them."

I'm not sure but most likely the same reason they're allies with Saudi Arabia and why in hells name Saudi Arabia Now Holds a Senior Position on the UN'S Humans Rights Council

I agree with Einstein on this one, if this continues we'd better stock up on sticks and stones.

Does it really say that allied countries are funding these groups?

From what I gather it's 'private individuals' ... although that's probably the best way to do it if you were going to both fight and fund a group. Still, it isn't clear.

Well, Syria is buying oil from them. That doesn't help. Anyone who buys oil from them isn't helping just for starters. I'm sure Syria isn't alone.

Anyone funding Syria is indirectly funneling money to ISIS through them ...
