Christianity of Jesus, the new testament, and the current century is all about peace. Though there are a few scattered bad people misusing it.

Islam is documented as, and decidedly built around conquest, domination, eradication of all other beliefs. And absolutely whatever it takes to achieve that. From its inception until today.

The rest of the religions are relatively benign, with radicals here and there.

The current century? I suppose then we can ignore all the brutal warlords in Africa (remember Kony?). Forget the barbaric practices done in that continent in the name of Christianity. Forget the oppressions by Nagaland Christian militias and Tripura Christian terrorists in India. Forget the IRA, forget the abortion bombers, etc etc. etc.

It is of course only fair to compare first world developed country Christianity with 3rd world, wartorn country Islam, right?

When it is Christianity being talked about, it is a minority, it is not "real christians", it is "those verses are taken out of context", but when it is Islam, a generalised "It is a religion of pure eviiiiiiiiiil!" is applicable.

Hilarious that it is ISLAM that is documented as being built around conquest, domination and eradication of other beliefs, when it is the Vikings that we have no knowledge of (the only information we have on their beliefs is from Christian monks), it is Wiccans and Druids that were absolutely and totally wiped out (so much so that they had to reinvent the entire religion in the last century, because they have no knowledge of it), and the only reason the jews still existed in Christian lands was Augustine's "Doctrine of the Witness", where "The perpetual servitude of the Jews reminded the world that the Jews are being punished for their rejection of Jesus. Therefore it was desirable that the Jew remain in Christian society. As long as Jews retained their second-class status, they would remind the world of their crime in rejecting Jesus and their validity of Jesus’s teachings".

Meanwhile, we still have Zoroastrians, we still have Hindus, we still have African tribal religions, we still have various flavours of Christianity and Judaism, as well as new religions that popped up after (Sikhism and Bahai'ísm) all in those areas that had been historically under the thumb of Muslims for centuries and centuries, enough time to be wiped out if that was the desire. Certainly, the existence of many of these groups has not always been peaches and ice cream, but unlike those minor religions in Christian lands, at least they still exist.
