Paris attack suspect apprehended and released

Good morning all

I just read in the Dutch news that a suspect has been apprehended and released while trying to cross the french border into Belgium.

The article states that the car (with 3 people inside) was pulled over and papers were checked.
One of these men apparently is on a list of wanted people. Nevertheless they could continue their journey.

Now how on earth could this happen?

Because he (and occupants) has a legit story an at the time he was stopped his name was not known / released. It's all in the timings. He was stopped soon after the events and at a time of high confusion and uncertainty.

I saw a video earlier of a couple of alleged suspects that were leaking pretty good from bullet wounds. The only reason they would let a legitimate suspect go is to track them.

That would be right. behind them or on satellite they would be tracked and it makes perfect sense to see where they run. This has not ended in Europe. It is obvious the hunt is on.
The escalation in Syria will escalate the terrorist attacks.
