You made some good points, perhaps the electrical activity in some of these metals are purely for the nervous system to connect and inform the rest of the body how it should respond? If someone has a damaged nerve network to a part of their body, that part seems to become rouge and gets more deformed . Same with a stroke where the impulses cant get to the muscle, so it to does the same thing .
Since the nervous system is essentially wiring , just like in a machine, with the myelin sheath acting as the insulating ,plastic around the wires, it would be logical that not only the impulses for movement are carried along them, but also how it should be formed to operate correctly in the environment.

Do you feel great because you went vegan, or because you changed your dealer?

Food is just proto-poop. Go out and enjoy a hot dog. It'll be good for ya.

Chimps also eat the fleas off of each others backs and they even eat bags of chips and donuts if given. I'm speaking about the natural state.

they also eat meat in their natural state, they also form hunting parties to catch that meat, warning some of the videos in the links are graphic.

and a whole page of chimps hunting meat.

One time this person, who apparently had entrée envy, reached over and attempted to take a piece of my porterhouse unbidden. I summarily jammed my steak knife into their eye.

So yes, meat does make me violent.

It takes 48 hours or more for meat to digest. Putrefaction all in ya. Why can't the body break down these proteins easier?

the cooking of meat or any food for that matter cause the cells to break down making it easier to chew and makes it tender, which in turn allows the body to digest it faster, and absorb more energy faster.

it is also been shown that the eating of meat caused our ancestors brains to grow 20 to 30 % larger and that the fact that cooking allowed their gut to shrink in size, just about the same size as the brain grew,20 30% percent. cooking their food cut down on the time spent actually eating it and allowed for the body to save energy, have more babies, develop more socially, and survive longer.

that says we need meat

By Dr. Mercola

Fruits are loaded with healthy antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, which is why eating them in moderation is fine for healthy people. However, many benefit by restricting their fruit intake.

Fructose, a simple sugar found in fruit, is preferentially metabolized to fat in your liver, and eating large amounts has been linked to negative metabolic and endocrine effects. So eating very large amounts – or worse, nothing but fruit – can logically increase your risk of a number of health conditions, from insulin and leptin resistance to cancer.

For example, research has shown that pancreatic tumor cells use fructose, specifically, to divide and proliferate, thus speeding up the growth and spread of the cancer.

Late last month, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC)—part of the World Health Organisation, an arm of the UN — concluded that red meat, like beef and pork, is “probably carcinogenic” to humans, and that processed meat is an even greater cancer threat. The IARC placed foods like bacon, sausage and hot dogs in the same carcinogen category as cigarettes and plutonium.

Genesis 27:3 says, Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field and take me some venison.
I have a freezer full of Elk and Deer that I have harvested that keeps me from having to buy meat from the store. And that delicious meat has not made me flip my lid.

Ah, yes, and Armaments 2:9-21, ...And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats...

So sayeth The Lord.

I would gladly eat any of those before becoming vegan. It all depends on how you cook it. But I guess I can compromise and use soy milk on my cereal. Aren't orangutans and fruit bats high in vitamin C?

Well, a healthy mind and healthy body go hand in hand.

I'm a one in 1000 member of the group of people who can maybe answer this question. That alone merits my post, but thank you.

All I want in return is a chance to reflect on the subject. It seems obvious that a mental state that includes meat-eating is reinforced through classic behavioral conditioning. It also seems there is a subconscious drive...maybe from the steroids, natural or otherwise.

As a vegetarian and also as an animal advocate, I notice how oddly hunters behave. Responsible humans shoot animals with a camera because of their interest in the beast. Hunters share this same interest in the animal too, except they express it differently....they show no pause to kill it in order to check out it's attributes, almost like a Victorian scientist would. Not just immoral reasoning behind the hunter's actions though, it's a craze....that is unless they are sustenance hunters.

It's a weird topic for me. Meat is gross, so none of it surprises me.

Please don't let some of the stupid hunters form your opinion. I personally do not hunt for the trophy. I have harvested smaller deer and elk that were with others with larger antlers. One reason being that a more ethical shot presented itself over the other. I would rather not risk wounding an animal and making it an easy meal for coyotes and mountain lions. So I guess I am an opportunistic hunter. I have also come home empty handed because an ethical shot did not present itself.
But I don't mind that because I have a freezer full of awesome deer and elk meat.

The FDA just said otherwise, so careful about prescribing hot dogs as "good for you."
That's technically malpractice, and I doubt you're an MD to begin with, so that's 2 criminal acts in one.

No seriously - if "naturopothy" and "alternative medicine" practitioners are ok to sue for bad advice, how is this ok?
It's not. Do you know what's in hot dogs? I know you do, you're just one of those people who lie to themselves and eat them anyway. When your veg - or just smart - friends - or doctors - try and tell you, you plug your ears and go "lalala can't hear you nomnom" and then come and post here out of revenge. I mean, you ignore the FDA so, not really a person who's big on "facts?"
(That's all. "You," from here on out in this post, is general.)

Yes, ingesting dead foreign DNA - more often than not raw as possible, still containing blood laced with high levels of adrenaline - will best prepare one for war, a football game, or, sitting on accumulated fat watching a football game, pretending that one is also somehow a part of it. "WE WON!" No, you watched tv. They won. You're delusional.
If I watched a concert, live or on tv, then went on for an hour about how I rocked my guitar solos, I'd be locked up. Seriously, the difference is what now?

Maybe it just creates a type of person who is so dishonest with themselves, so utterly (pun intended - got milk? lol) delusional, that they find it not even the slightest bit questionable to be dishonest to others?

Now I'll be a bit nicer - look, meat ain't what it used to be. I'll eat some fish, even chicken on occasion, because I live 2 blocks from an indoor chicken farm, and I know where every chicken in a REAL restaurant within a 2-mile radius gets it from, fresh, today, no hormones. 14 year old girls look 22 these days because of hormones in chicken, milk, and other dairy and meats. That's ok? No. No, it is not. Women who eat too much Popeye's look like Niki Manaj, but haven't had butt surgery. That's not normal, it's genetic manipulation.

Also, you wanna joke about it? Ok, colonics. Have fun with that! I won't be needing one, lol.
No joke, but the thought of every person ever who made fun of vegetarianism needing one soon is hilarious.

"Karma is only a b*tch if you are." -me

All DNA is dead.

When you consume it, your body disassembles it into its constituent parts. There's nothing left. You certainly don't incorporate it into your body as genetic coding.

Or, as a vegan, you'd be turning into turnips. Plants also have DNA, and it's both dead and foreign as well. MORE foreign, actually. And consuming soy, often than not as raw as possible, still containing potent endocrine disruptors, isn't having a beneficial effect on you.
