France has been flying in Iraq. They've flown exclusively in Iraq until September, when they announced they may join missions in Syria.

France has been part of a US-led coalition bombing IS positions in Iraq for the past year, but changed strategy this week in announcing it would join Washington, Canada, Gulf allies and Turkey in also carrying out airstrikes in Syria.

Yes, but they started to bomb in Syria in oktober. But we are through Our media given the impression that that France got involved this week after the terror event in Paris.

We are also given the impression through Our media that it is also because of the latest terror act that France will send their Aircraft carrier to the ME. But that was decided on nov 5th. A week before the attack in Paris.

So now you think the media has the slightest clue what's going on and is supposed to be reliable? They make crap up as they go that they think will sell to the public best.

Well that exactly what i am not saying. It is not just the media who is promoting this escalation do to the terror attack on Friday. Government officials are using it to. But, government officials would have already known that France were bombing in Syria and that they were going to deplay their carrier on nov 5. It was stated by the French presiden.

It is not just the media who are liying, but the government officials are too.

And government officials are any better than the media? They're even more likely to make misleading claps. Especially if it makes them look good.

All this bombing useless until boots are put on the ground.

Sorry thats not a popular view but we are all at war whether we like like it or not, ISIS declared war on us.

And while they are at it they need to sanction Saudi Ariabia, Qutar and UAE and freeze all there finicial assets.

We dont bother with the fancy warm fuzzy nation building. Just go in exterminate ISIS then leave. Let russia pick up the pieces with Assad.

What what you suggest ignore them?

They are there, they own land and like it our not we are at war with them.

The activity of france in Syria is no secret, it has been reported in the news since early October, the main difference now is that Russia and France work together while before the latest attacks (Metrojet and Paris) they had a different view on how to approach the conflict in Syria.
France wants Assad to step down while Putin first wants Syria freed with elections after this is accomplished.
Hollande said to Putin he would like to see that only IS is a target while Russia also bombs places outside the caliphate which are held by the opposition.
They seem to have overcome their differences since Friday.

I'm actually waiting to see what Germany will do, certainly in the last two years Putin Merkel and Hollande have had quite a lot of conversations together.

Whose boots?

Personally, I'd go with any non-Middle Eastern country's boots OFF their ground.

Then What?

You think ISIS will just go away?

You think they will leave you alone because you ignore them?

This is NOT Iraq or Afghatisan or Libya.

ISIS wont stop because we leave them alone.

They brought the war to us this time.

Let me clarify. By Middle Eastern boots I meant the 2.5+million troops they have in their collective countries. Figure it out and fight it out amongst themselves...all their political and religious and other crap issues. The Enemy of Our Enemy

We do not need to be there to mediate, to protect, to change, to kill.

And who's talking about ignoring anything? If the above happened, the rest of us can all just focus out efforts and energies on keeping the war out of our countries.

Because, you know, it's such a freaking SHOCK to people when they bring the war to us, to our countries So shocking that to reconcile it in their own minds they have to call it terrorism and not what it is...war. Well that and because the puppetmasters tell them to.

How can you keep it out our countrys when ISIS currnetly own land, they have a economic base and a place were recruits can flock? All our securitys services can do is play wack a mole while ISIS gets stronger , causes more mayhem and even more refugess flock to the EU to escape them.

Im not talking about a dip# Iraq nation building campaign and forceing American Freedumb on them.

Just exterminate ISIS then leave the locals (who will be very happy to ISIS gone) to recontruct the country in what ever fashion they want.

Yeah. Because it's so easy to exterminate IS, as we've seen.

This is a family problem the family needs to deal with. External forces are only going to make that family unite against them.

Because all we have done is drop token bombs on them.

Bombing alone wont sort anything out.

At the very least there needs to be a complete finacial freeze on all Saudi, UAE and Quatar assets until they sort there own house out and remove the bastards funding them.

And as I said someone needs to be on the ground to finnish off what the bombs can do.

The "family" is not dealing with it. They are falling apart. Assad was almost gone by the time Russia showed up, Iraq been cut in half. Only ones barely couping is Iran and they dont have the resources to finish the fight.

Bombing IS in Syria have no real effect if the US are training and arming ISIL somewhere else.

Aston Carter stated this in a hearing. Obama confirmed it just a few weeks ago on TV.

The police, the FBI and military are not going to arrest government officals that pay their salery and gives them jobs and daily priorities.

FBI probably have more sceletons in their closet than the CIA. FBI are used a lot by the US government, The Israeli government in the ME.
