What's the best rock song you ever heared?
My personal favourite is "Magic Carpet Ride"

Presumably that's Steppenwolf and not the Pizzicato Five.

It's not Smoke On The Water, or Stairway To Heaven, or Holiday In Cambodia, so it must be The Birthday Party's Release The Bats , LOL.

I'm a huge rock fan, mostly 60s, 70s, 80s rock and roll, and heavy metal.
So I'd say my fav rock song is
"I wanna rock and roll all nite" -kiss "The Nomad" Iron maiden "Fear of the dark" Iron maiden and "War pigs, and Electric Funearl" Black sabbath

It's gotta be rockin. Older stuff, live version Skynyrd's Free Bird, newer stuff Pearl Jam's Alive. Locomotive Breath any day. 1 question, who dat?

For Queen fans, Stone Cold Crazy, off of Sheer Heart Attack. Not a bad song either, on News of the World.

Yeah, but I'm still rockin. Liking Sum 41's "All to Blame", Papa Roach's new tune, GD "Boulavard of Broken Dreams" (song of the year imo).

Yes, some bash Green Day, but their new album is really showing their evolution as a band... Blvd. of Broken Dreams is a kick A$$ song!

Anyone familiar with a song called "Cold Gin" by Kiss from the early 70´s?
"My head is asleep and my a$$ is on fire..." *guitar-chords*...
Excellent rock-song.

Then there is:
"Rollo" by Helmet
"Indiscipline" by King Crimson

There is more but my head is asleep right now...

Crimony, intrepid. Your "Song of the Year" gets stuck in my head every time I hear it to the point it drives me absolutely batty... The guy that sits next to me at work blares it through his headphones and I'm always walking around humming it for hours... :bnghd:

Oh yeah, and here's my list...

"When Darkness Falls" - Killswitch Engage

"Hollow" - Pantera

"Tens" - Pantera

"Cemetary Gates" - Pantera

"Cowboys From Hell" (of course) - Pantera

Big ups on the Jethro Tull, but I'm going to have to go with "Skating Away On the Thin Ice of a New Day"

"Numbered Days" - Killswitch Engage

"Spit It Out" - Slipknot

"Three Nil" - Slipknot

"3 Libras" - A Perfect Circle

"Pet" - A Perfect Circle

God only knows how many more I could list, I'm a music junkie... That's just what rolled off the top of my head...

You're all wrong!

It has to be "Let's Get Rocked" by Def Leppard!
