Like when? or an actual news article? the translation running on the clipped youtube hate-piece says the 7 year old girl "spoke of a north African or southern"...what does that mean? A person of color??? Have the police investigated? Absolutely. And they are entitled and encouraged to participate in threads they aren't Moding. My issue, I guess...is (A) He didn't state an opinion...he made a factual claim and (B) he supported it with a youtube hate propaganda piece that is far fetched and unsupported by an actual news article and a reposted youtube video where the original creator was banned from youtube..

Mods usually arrive at their post for having a strong standard of evidence and a credible method of debate...political or ideological leanings are not considered.

So yes...he posted an opinion posing as fact...a Claim that was hate-propaganda...and supported it very poorly with a youtube crap video at best and out right false hate-porn at worst.

I respect his right to participate...Like I said ...I am disappointed at the propaganda he engaged in and its aim...

Fair enough, and alright! Didn't read every post, though I did skim, so I missed that. No worries. Nothing wrong with trying to present both sides, in any case. The Paris stuff, I haven't read up on yet. Know a lot happened, but no details. Seems like a mess, though!

I have a strong feeling that's just the beginning. Most of these claimed "refugees" seem to be fighting age men, and that's a concern. I heard that claimed, and looked for as many pictures as I could locate. Scanning the pics, that seems to be an accurate assessment.

The whole thing is a powder keg. The violence you listed is, I believe a reaction to the situation, and unfortunately, some react against the wrong people.

819,000 so far this year by sea: data.unhcr.org...

BUT this isn't linear - there were 220,000 in October alone: www.google.co.uk...

i.e the number has increased exponentially.

That - if the number doesn't increase - which it almost certainly will, annualises to 2.5 million.

HOWEVER - many of the 819,000 will apply to bring over their families under EU law - and they often have big families - so by migration osmosis if nothing else there are at least 2.5 million new immigrants in or on their way to Europe already.

NOT including even 1 additional person from now.

We here in the U.S. can take some comfort in the fact we are somewhat geographically isolated from Europe and the Middle East.
