lol... Putin and his nukes are a joke!

Still 100 years behind the US black triangles!

Don't think the Russians have technology we don't know about?
Don't be a fool, the Russians have noiseless ammo that is quieter than standard suppressed weapons and they also have standard issue armor piercing 9mm ammo that is loaded to +P+ levels so it will ruin western firearms if used in them they also invented the most powerful known nuclear weapon ever made the Tsar Bomb.(7N29,7N28,7N31,7N21, SP-4,SP-3,and PZAM)
All of that is 35 year old or older technology now,I'm sure they are even farther ahead of us in small arms technology by now,not that they would need to be as their old silent ammo and armor piercing 9mm are way beyond us even today.

interesting I wonder if this is a response to the anti Ballistic missile test off the California coast which has in full view of everyone and caught on cameras. Russian response big arse torpedo that creates a tidal wave which would most likely destroy all cities near the beach then the radiation would kill off 3 more more states in fallout.

The old nasa builds a pen that works in space for 10 million and Russian astronauts simply use a pencil and save the 10 million type of reasoning.

Hi Hutchy,

Probably they'll have it sooner along with China after this video.

Not that I know of but we don't really know anything a bout their war tech past 1980, only a poor shot needs one and those aren't even fielded anyway, those things cost 25K,each they aren't going to add that cost to the other troop costs.

Never going to happen, those tracking point scopes are $25k they won't ever be fielded except maybe(and this is really stretching the word)by SF.

how do they know if it will even work, it might look good on paper but i haven't heard about any nuclear test in russia may be a big dud.
i bet if they test it, putin would have the same look as when he watched the combat robot test.

The Russians made this 50 megaton bomb in 16 weeks in 1961 , its doubtful they have gone backwards in technology .

that doesn't mean that they have made and tested a 100-megaton super torpedo.

and that combat robot was a actual test.

One would think it would be rather hard to hide a 100 megaton test . Designing and making one however are another thing entirely . If the truth be known they don't even have to have this weapon , the west just have to think they have . Nicely done all round by uncle Vlad and his team .

Muscle flexing time. It's no accidental revealing, just as much a secret as the top secret missile tests in California that many have witnessed and many have heard about are no secret.

That epic explosion was a 58 MT, the torpedo one is estimated to be 100 MT!

That's MAD....

Also there is no way it wasn't deliberate, maybe it was an answer to something US. did we don't know about...

Cold War all over again....

Nitpicking a bit here , but originally the Soviets called it 50 megaton , then the west called it 57 and everyone ran with that for a while now i believe its now revised back to 50 . Cold war , hmmm , not yet but its sliding in a direction i find more than a little disturbing . America tests an ICBM and Russia lets slip a 100 megaton torpedo . But why a cobalt bomb , thats just plain stupid . It would make the fallout area uninhabitable for approx 100 years . 100 megaton theres not going to be anyone there anyway . On a side not the Tzar Bomba was one of the least radioactive tests of all time ,something to do with lead damping or something . I smell a scare tactic .

Concerns about fallout prompted Russian scientists to use lead tampers that dialed down the yield to half of the bomb’s capabilities. Interestingly enough, Tsar Bomba was one of the “cleanest” nuclear weapons ever detonated, because the bomb’s design eliminated 97 percent of the possible fallout.

Lets not forget thier DEAD HAND system which is still online last I checked, its a Russian version of skynet that will continue to fight a nuclear war even if the Russian command and control structure has been taken out, I would guess until all targets on earth have been destroyed. . . .Meaning all life.

Russia has had a doomsday bomb squad for some time!
During the cold war some scientists came up with the idea of a real doomsday bomb which would cause an explosion large enough to destroy all life on earth if not the earth itself. It was to be a final middle finger to the rest of the world if Russia ever lost a war. In my opinion this project is most likely still a very real reality and showing the massive torpedos are warnings that Russia has the capability to devastate the world with new weapons we never imagined were even possible.

I think the point of doomsday weapons are to tell the world if you decide to fight everyone will lose. They are made public for a reason, to stop the enemy from undertaking an attack against you. . . . . . Because if you lose everyone will lose with you. . . .

I think they may have something like a world ending doomsday bomb, I just hope they arent pushed to use it.

It is this kind of thinking that shows we humans simply do not deserve to inhabit this planet or any other we are just to screwed in the head and stupid...in fact this kind of thinking gives credence to us being imprisoned here by some sort of benevolent force

Probably just a PR moment a la Putin.

At the moment it is all he has.

The best way to know it was leaked...look for those who leaked it to disappear.

If that doesn't happen it wasn't leaked...it was done on purpose.

That isn't every human...only one who thinks he can use nukes to scare the world.

Rading this takes me right back to the '80s and not in a good way.

I guess the last 20 odd years have made me soft since I rarely thought about a nuke war in that time.
