This week, on Next Level BS, we get a bit opinionated, as compared to how we've been in the past. The whole political mayhem, with what seems like dozens of Republican Candidates, and evil Democratic front-runner, and a socialist outsider has us really pissed off. So we take this opportunity to vent on-camera, and float a giant turd that just might make you think. And that's the most dangerous thing isn't it? Voters who think.

No matter how little Americans could, or would vote for any candidate they will end up with the same old BS POTUS . They will be just another puppet like all the others . The rest of the world is knowing and laughing at what turns out to be "your" choice .......go Bernie go :>)

I am commenting on the video description alone:

Do ATS members still believe in the whole "left/right" paradigm?

Most people know that Republican/Democrat, left/right, liberal/conservative...etc. are nothing more than labels created to divide us and distract us from the important issues.

The technique they use is called DIVIDE AND CONQUER and this episode seems to be pushing that agenda. Normally I am more optimistic but with all due respect I will not be watching a video based on make believe entities.

Elections are nothing but theatrics and the "winner" is decided way before election day. The "President" is a figurehead/puppet who's sole purpose is to read a teleprompter and play the hero/zero depending on what the people behind the scenes have planned for said administration.

Many times I've been called a progressive lib-tard for simply voicing this opinion even though I make it quite clear that I claim no affiliation with either side.

**grabs popcorn**

Should be an interesting thread...

ETA:

Out of respect, I will watch the video and voice my opinion

(after work when I have video access)

I will also say I think it was BS how the GOP debating candidates complained about the manner in which the debate was held (types of questions being asked, etc. etc.).

Are you kidding me? They are all blowing smoke at us non-stop, ESPECIALLY when they're in front of the cameras and audiences like that... but just because it wasn't all glitter and marshmallows they want to go complain and shout out demands on how the debate should be conducted? GTFO

So, voting for president is pointless--but why isn't blaming congress for our problems pointless?

We are supposed to have a government of three co-equal branches. What you are doing is attempting to blame the legislators, when you know fair well that if the president disagrees with the bill, it goes nowhere. Similarly, if a president wants something but congress says no, then it also go nowhere.

Both the legislative and executive branches shoulder blame, but for you to just rag about presidential candidates and then say it's all congress' fault--that truly is pointless.

I'm getting increasingly disappointed that I take the time to watch your videos.

"The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted."
- Dwight D. Eisenhower

As with most warnings from history, they get lost in time and the dangers eventually fall upon us.

Great post/video!
Thanks

You're still referencing the sad fact that nothing is getting done.

The Quadrennial Exploitation Of The Moronic Masses

Every presidential election cycle, there are one or two candidates that float the hope of expansive change.

Even when people are duped into thinking someone representing change gets elected, change never happens.

It's the worst field for president in history... that's not for a reason?

If Ben Carson was president by the time he finished blinking the nuclear war would be over.

If Hilary was president she wouldn't know which email she put the launch codes in.

If Rubio was president for the first time we'd have a president as broke as government.

If Trump was president he would fire congress because he saw a Mexican.

Decisions, decisions.

Yup. That's exactly what it is.

While funny, that was the only zinger that wasn't based on reality, but based on left-leaning hyperbole.

We were working on an episode that covers how screwed up the media and "journalism" has become, especially when related to politics and campaigns. But the field moves so quickly, and media lies pile so high, it's hard to find a stopping point.

Ok , Ok so the US democracy is a by hook or by crook ....name it what ever but the operations of the system still remain the same old ,same old . Why is it that the west gets this notion that our system is superior . ?? Somehow I think we should force someone into the POTUS position then someone convincing us that "they" are who we should cast a vote for . go Bernie go :>)

What part of "anti-establishment" is winning this time do you not understand?

Of coarse, there no status quo Presidential election this time.

Since it does not matter who the President is, might as well give Bernie a good retirement.

Couldn't we say we need a president that can compromise and work with congress?
So that would still give some relevance to who gets elected.

It is a sad truth though, that if congress doesn't want things to happen, it doesn't happen.
Or if it does it comes from the dreaded, well at least now it is, E.O.

Hair game still strong though Joe.

"The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter" -Winston Churchill

What's worse, that ignorant bigots and incompetent fools are in a presidential race? Or that ignorant bigots and uninformed fools with power helped put them there in the first place and will proudly vote for them?

Times like this I am glad I don't live in the U.S. When 43% of the population consider Fox News trustworthy and unbiased, the majority of the American public's source of knowledge about the wider world is "celebrities", a substantial proportion of the population believe that simple facts like climate change are lies (despite overwhelming scientific evidence to the contrary), and an even greater proportion of people believe in some form of American exceptionalism, the population as a whole have no one to blame but themselves for the nlbs seen in United States politics and this episode.

Good luck and God speed America, may you live long and prosper in spite of all this.

Nice episode, except how can opinions even be substantiated about a candidate when you're telling us it doesn't matter in the first place? They are ALL incompetent, panderers alike. You will never see a real leader until we take the money out of politics and the bias out of media. Its about showmanship not integrity. Even if a candidate's intentions and rhetoric are anti-establishment and popular, they must play the game and hope those they're playing against don't cheat to win!

Someone should push through a new bill legalising the execution of any politician found to be deliberately self serving or who deliberately lies to the electorate.

You'd soon have trouble finding any politicians at all...
wouldn't that be awesome
