Thing is, this can change after years of marriage, kids, other responsibilities, etc.

Very true and you are lucky enough to be in a position where you are able

to do something about it and change together.

My wife always compains there isn't time for it...

Find out what it is that is taking up the time, do it for her without fuss

(and as the woman said in the video) she will be grateful for the effort.

yet there is always time to watch TV....

So spoil her and make it more interesting than the TV. Use your imagination!

Here's the thing, something else I'd much rather do than watch even my favorite show....at least on a somewhat regular basis. She just doesn't get that.

Nothing more boring than sex on rota. Where's the element of unpredictability?

Or like was it Bush who said on another subject *shock and awe*

And then folks wonder why partners cheat....too funny. Not that I do. I don't. But still....given the opportunity, I'm not so sure my defenses would hold like they used to.

Partners cheat because they are cheats ... and not because they don't

get sex.

This is a very awesome Ted video, it illuminated the buried notion of rejection, deliberate or not, imagined or not, being a culprit extremely well, IMO.

Men want SEX ... Women want ROMANCE/LOVE give her what she wants

and you get what you want .

If that's not a stereotype against men, I don't know what is. Different people want different levels & blends of carnal sex & tender lovin'/romance, but nearly everyone, men included, wants to be loved. Romance & love are not the same thing to me. I don't need to be shown through "romantic" candlelit meals & flowers that I'm loved (my husband's companionship tells me that) I personally rank the carnal pounce-like-animals sex a bit higher in desire than romantic gestures, but you probably have those reversed in order of want/importance, correct? Well, you're more like my husband & less like me regarding sex than you think.

Its not against men after all there are 50 shades of grey? but men and

women are hard wired differently and there are those between? I worked for

20 years the only female among roughly a hundred men.

My boss spent three years trying to get me to do things like the others, and

despite working differently he couldn't fault my results so after the three

years he agreed that men and women were wired differently.

I don't disagree with that, and as for romance .... It means different things to

different people. Romance doesn't have to be wining and dining .... It can be

a family stroll flirting, touching (nothing too heavy) just a suggestion an aware

ness of each other, building up some tension leading on ........ to something

later.

Much more romantic than watching TV in silence and a rough day of picking up

after, cleaning and cooking to have another chore thrust upon her. Foreplay

starts before the bedroom.

No not correct. My relationships have differed according to the man of the

moment. Different men require different relationships? variable needs?

However one ex. who was a psychiatrist did say I drove like a man!

Turns out my situation could have been more related to hormonal. She's been on this different medication, and it has changed quite a bit (I'll have to reference the name, as I can't recall it)... I mean, there are still other factors, but like most guys in this situation, you have to just take what success you get.
