Didn't matter. They said they couldn't take the chance of the guys crying racism, even for a moment, it would create chaos. My boss was obligated to give them the gas.
It is clear the squeaky wheel gets the grease. People have to start squeaking a lot louder.
If the local government and the police are afraid of a little chaos, then call in the local news teams, everybody set their phones to instant upload video sites, and create the chaos needed to bring law and order back to your community.
Get them on video around the world explaining why they are not protecting the citizens of their community, and not holding immigrants to the same laws and standards as the native citizens of their country. Get law students in the country to file lawsuits against them. Become a bigger embarrassment than a charge of racism.
A complication in all of that is that it isn't JUST the authorities that are afraid, it is everyone else.
They grew up listening to the horrors that racism caused and seeing the destruction left around them.
They don't want to seem like they are being racist either. There is social pressure not to say anything about this, because you will look racist. My boss, who I could tell was holding in a lot of anger from such events, told hardly anyone about this.
Only in moments of intimate disclosure (when you get a sense that the other person will understand and not jump to a racist accusation) do people whisper to a friend what happened to them. And they grind their teeth, and say "what you can do? " Any action or word might illicite the shout that you are a nazi.
This is partly why I confront people who are extremely left wing and are quick to judge any hint of complaint as racist bigotry- they encourage the arabs to riot for nothing and anything, they discourage the police from having any motivation to do their job.
This is why the refugees coming in here are in great danger, as much as the inhabitants- they walked into a silent but deadly powder keg.
Here there is nothing being said about the refugee crisis being threatening in any way (contrary to the press I am seeing form the UK and US). The taboo has everyone in a gag... which in my opinion is making things worse.
This is why I often say, it is not so simple as good guys and bad guys, simply an ineffective government, or bigotted masses.
Dual lessons of life: 1. You never allow anyone to define you. 2. You teach people how to treat you.

a reply to: Bluesma when Europeans have grown up with two world wars, some of us tend to get a bit edgy when we see so many are embracing media propaganda from right wing facist and xenophobic sources and engaging in ill treatment of refugees. The ones who know our European history are not so quick to embrace facist ideology and are wary of it and its potential. Maybe being in France you don't see it the same way, but twice the world has had to come to save the French from facist and nationalistic ideologies. It would be nice to see the French stand up to it instead of rolling over when the chips are down.

I find this absolutely disgusting, and I hope that everyone involved in these arson incidents is found, bought to court, and convicted to the fullest extent of the law.
No one will admit to supporting the only voice in the wilderness, the Front National and Marine LePen... everyone does the "correct" thing, to call her a nazi and disparage their party. But I know personally many people that have let me in on their secret - that they may vote for her. She has a real chance, because you can only be a nice carpet for so long before you have to take action to save your life.

They left the Swedish people with no options. I would be revolting too.
So are you condoning burning down refugee camps, would you join in? They were left with an option to not burn down refugee camps, most sane people would choose that option i hope.
Some people on this website scare me more than any refugee. Condoning all sorts of nastiness because they hate people they don't know. No one studied European 20th century history.
Translation : The Islam will come to Germany if want this or not, You're daughter will wear a headscarf and his son a beard.your daughter will marry a Berber. You Germans will not get any children, well maybe one or two .

So the French will surrender again to fascism and expect the world to come and save their liberty and fraternity again? When will they learn? how many times will they need the world to come and save them to protect their much loved freedoms. Europeans should fight facist ideology wherever it rears its ugly head or just not expect the rest of the world to lay down their lives to save these spineless French

Oh, you mean like sharia law in parts of Birmingham. Ah, but that's alright because it's only the muslims policing themselves.
If you don't believe that or the MSM just come to Birmingham and look for yourself. Just don't come if your are a woman not prepared to wear a burkah or a man wearing any sign that is not Islamic.
There are a multitude of fuses affixed to dozens of powderkegs and little kids with matches are on the loose.
It could happen at any time. One military miscue. One assassination. One violent act that stirs the world. And the dominoes will topple, setting off fireworks not seen on this planet since 1939 – 1945. I can see it all very clearly.
