I think this is a great snap, lighting, the white edges on the bass, the color of the clothing and the reflective sunglasses - but the microphone stand is too close, anyone here any good at photoshopping and feel like doing this if it isnt too much trouble? I dont have any programs that could do this. Thanks

It was just a point and snap picture, wasn't expecting it to come out so good.

It would be very tricky to do and would take time and skill. The problems is that one would have to fill in details behind the microphone from tip to toe so to speak. That would mean sampling every change from face to jeans and painting that in with enough skill not to be noticed. Yes, it could be done, but it would be a labour and take some time.

Personally, I think it is a fine picture as it stands. Sometimes, the imperfections are very much part of the overall impression. I love the big bad bass, beautiful instrument. I am a bluegrass singer, harmonica player, guitarist and mandolinist. I would so love to work with the bass. Acoustic instruments are my favourite. They sounds so beautiful and natural.

I love bluegrass too, even though I am in Aus, we do have a few adherents as the fellow above shows.

Yes, I know that in Australia you have some good folk musicians. It is the land of The Seekers, who just so happen to have a very good bass player indeed. I love them. They made some very beautiful melodies. I listen to so much old music. Woody Guthrie is my favourite of all. I adore Ry Cooder, too.

Ladies and gentlemen, The Seekers with Judith on vocals and Athol Guy on double bass!

Ahhh, such simpler times.... and yet the 40 and overs were finding it too complicated for them then.

It is actually not that hard to do once you figure out how everything works in photoshop.
