How can a war be imminent..if the government has known for years?

Another poster claims this has been in the works for 150 years..which is kind of weird when you consider WW1 and WW2. Why not just go straight for the biggie in the first place?

The camps are for enemies of the state. Chinese, Russians etc. There are millions of both in the U.S aswell as other potential traitors.

If WW3 kicks off America will have gone with the first strike policy, this means retaliatory strikes on the U.S mainland.

If it goes nuclear immediately there probably won't be much of a U.S to save.

If it goes to the MAD scenario, there won't be an earth to save either.

Oh there'll be thousands tucked away nice and cosy in their dumbs, probably watch the rest of us incinerate while scoffing popcorn and hotdogs.

Although, they'll be sorry later when they realise they'll have to stay underground for hundreds of generations, only to emerge as some weird regressed sub-Human species wondering why the hell they were living underground in the first place.

But it would be because of a mistake, or some hot-headed act of folly...hardly by design.

This is just dumb. The government plans for most contingencies it can imagine. Did we duck and hide for a generation because the Russians bombing was eminent? Some sure thought so. Not as if it would actually have helped.

Speaking of helping... WTH does fearing ww3 do for you and your loved ones? Best you could do is play the game and be ready to flee in an instant if necessary. Saying the same things people have been saying for decades with no results is just madness, and not my preferred flavor of it.

What i find interesting is each governments preparation.

It shows how they think WW3 will go or if it will happen/they plan to initiate it.

Possibly because those in power have been for hundreds of years and have been planning and sculpting the civilization we have today,we didn't miraculously arrive at 7 odd billion people on the planet without some design....

It is very possible both of the world wars were needed for the design to come to fruition
