AirForce1 ....whats it all about ?

Ive heard that AirForce1 has alot of features that most aircraft do not have. Things such as a nuclear bomb proof shell. Two stowed Aim-9x Sidewinder missiles for use as a defense mechanism. We all know that it has an air-to-air refueling capability. But just a thought, is there any like,,more secrets about this 747 ? I also was told that there were several escort planes that fly with it. Is this true ?
