Israel would not go down without a fight. A nuclear fight. They have already warned that they have nukes pointing at every capital city in range. Propaganda? Possibly but it wouldn't surprise me if it were true.

We have troops in Iraq, THAT would be a very bad idea if they hit our troops.

If that happens, then the nukes will be dusted off and put into use.

If the U.S. hits Russian troops....well, same thing. Either way I believe that this war will go nuclear.

The Russians aren't taking over, they're helping take back.

Difficult to argue with success.

Correct. But isn't there a threat that the Persian Hizbullah combined with Russians and company could overtake and potentially invade Israel? The presence of Chinese force doesn't help the matter either..

If Russians and Persians now have agreements and access to Jordan, doesn't that compromise and imperil Israel? My fear is that everyone will or already does have their eyes on Israel..

Make no mistake about it - while it's great that Russia is going against ISIS, everything that we have been witnessing points to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Ezekiel 38 talks about an end-times invasion of Israel. Russia and Iran are two of the nations mentioned in that passage of Scripture.

Not only that, Putin already has his eyes on Israel's natural gas and oil.

The next month or so will be quite interesting.

As expected those who worship Russia say this is a move to free the Middle East from the evil United States led NWO.

In reality this another world superpower trying to strengthen its own position by manipulating lesser nations.

Don't get me wrong. The United States is not a force of good. To believe Russia is a force of good is just as foolish

Thermobarics have eclipsed nukes, same damage, no rads we use DU to take out armor ,but actual use of WMDs is uneccessary when you rule conventional war,and we do. HANDS DOWN.
We aren't at strength right now but let an credible aggresor hit us and we will whip out things that you wouldn't believe.

I don't know anything about thermobaric weapons. If one was used in a major metro area, for example, what would the damage be compared to a conventional nuke?

I don't believe that Russia is a force for good. But I do believe it is good that Russia is helping to iradicate ISIS. It is doing much more than the U.S. in that regard.

Oh, Putin has his ulterior motives. I believe he's got his heart set on Israel's natural gas and oil resources.

I wouldn't be too sure of the situation on the ground re: the "Big Bear" coming to town.

Russia and Syria have been Allies a while before all the US meddling in ME. Russia didn't invade Syria before, they won't now. They are finally supporting the Syrian military, not the US backed insurgency.

Well, the Arabs as a whole, haven't invaded Israel for decades. Those borders were peaceful except where Gaza was concerned.

Israel is a prima-donna, they want to be the center of attention. The really have no resources though, why invade them? They might resent that and have nukes.

If China shows interest in the ME region (or Russia) in a larger fashion, its for the same reason US is there (besides defending the Chosenites)… OIL.

The rest of the ME nations make a lot of noise about down with Israel and all, but its a lot of hot air (especially in the media).

I'm okay with Russia securing or even strengthening their position in the Middle East, as long as they destroy ISIS. And as long as they don't interfere in other countries internal business without having being called for assistance or having a legal reason to interfere. And as long as they don't fund terrorist. And as long as they don't bomb another country for not doing what they have been told to do.

If they do all of the above, then people will criticize them because that's all that we can do really.

Till then, go Vlad!

President Obama found his private moment of political candor caught by a live microphone on Monday as he told President Dmitri A. Medvedev of Russia that he would have “more flexibility” to negotiate on the delicate issue of missile defense after the November election, which Mr. Obama apparently feels confident he will win.

This leak might be linked to Russias long range cruise missile. The US want to make a deal With Russia throught the UN about how many of these New long range cruise missiles Russia should have along or Close to the EU boarders.

The Patriot missile in question is useless against these cruise missiles, do to the fact that the Patriot system is designed to target balisitic missiles.

America, may finally be accepted for what it is…a country in the grip of some sinister madness.

Russia unlike the US seems to legitimately want to solve the Syrian civil war not pour gasoline on a fire like the US is and has been doing.

Putin is trying to communicate with all the countries in the region and has made them realize he won’t sit by while they crucify Syria for some insane reason that America has on its hidden agenda.

Putin is doing what the US should have been doing.

Obama is either the worst president in recent memory or just in the absolute grip of some evil force in the US that wants WWIII

Remember when, just before the 2012 elections, when Obama and Putin sat together for the press.....and Obama, not realizing his mic was on, said to Putin:

" i can do a lot more in my second term" (paraphrasing)

Russia taking the role as world police is interesting, the US making red lines, and do nothing about them, says another.

Obama's 2nd term is making Putin look like a superhero to many.

It was Medeved Obama was talking to, not Putin.
