Thanks everyone, I am indeed a very proud dad today. As I've eluded to in the past, my kids are a testament to being bought-up old-school and always show manners and respect to adults.

Consequently, they have become the benchmark in our social circles as to how kids should act.

They are awesome.

I owe it all to my wife, she's Irish (from Dublin) and her love and kindness knows no limits. She is quite literally the only person on this planet that has total control over me and can make me do anything at any time - like I'm her personal robot or something - weird. I truly am a very lucky man and have been blessed with my lot in life.

NO WAY - upon opening the box, my wife gave clear instructions that they are NOT to be opened - sorta look but don't touch type present. She believes they will be worth a mint in about 25 years.

She's taken them off me already and replaced them with beers - a reasonable trade given the circumstances

I have a large collection of Hot Wheels, most of them are the redline series. My friends and I used to trade our cars at school. I never played with them but would just lie in bed marveling at how cool each car was. I have some that are worth a lot of money. What's hilarious, my sisters would always buy me cars for Christmas. Girls like pink, so they would always buy the pink cars. It turns out later that most of the pink cars are valuable, because most boys didn't want them, lol.

The Star Trek collector series looks awesome! Those will certainly continue to increase in value. Sounds like they really did their homework.
