It harkens back to the olden days, but there is still an ATS Cafe Press page.

We were being hit with a rather persistent flood, requiring the re-deployment of some rather expensive mitigation tools.

More as I know it.

With regard to expenses, I have always felt you guys should have a store. Even CafePress or something.

They should work with some authors here to compile and publish original and fresh thoughts that take place here.

That is probably it.

Perhaps the CIA is mad at us for thinking for ourselves and disagreeing with their insidious plans in the middle east.

AboveTopSecret.com was attacked again. cant imagine why, its not like its a truth site.

Truth sites get hit big time and visitors see the same content on the front page all the time and think the the sites gone dead when The Powers That Should Not Be fix things so even the owners are not aware.

If you go to Jimstone.com you will see that same content which is the 3 blokes who foiled a false falg on the french training few weeks ago. Its not unitl you hit the update button that you see the new content.

The other way of getting their is through the DNS address 82.221.129.208... but even then you might have to hit the update button.

Then again, perhaps a bit of truth that grates a nerve got posted recently. funtastic if so.

What is needed around here, is some sort of M.A.D. countermeasure on the sites systems and access ports, which targets machines involved in these hacks in such a way as to hijack the machines cooling apparatus, shut it down, while also overclocking the machine, therefore burning out the boards inside. With any luck, the little buggers responsible for this nonsense will get third degree burns.

On a more serious note, is there nothing that can be done to backtrace these attacks and find the gormless scumbags responsible?

The trouble with Ddos or bot net attacks is that the attackers rarely know they are indeed attackers so ip addresses or tracing is pointless. Your grandma's computer could be part of the attack and she would never know.

That is true, although there would have to be some sort of digital dust left to show the passage of malicious code through the bot-net itself and that code could be identifiable. It's like taggers and bombers. Hackers and digital criminals all have their little signatures, or so I am told.

I don't know if this is by design or just my problem, but you also have websites that piggyback behind your website.

This was a rather serious hit with simultaneous UDP and TCMP attacks.

Four hours after it started, it's still happening. It overloaded our firewall's logging. I'm waiting for more details from our hosting provider.

Someone/entity is very intent on disrupting what's happening here.

Mother Russia will assimilate you

Every time I log into ATS, I get websites that pop up behind your ATS window. I've been trying to block them out, without any success, so it seems like they're attaching themselves to your website every time I log onto ATS.

I've had different websites appearing such as the Crux.com, Moneywise411.com, Healthy-consumer.com, pros.palmbeachgroup.com and many more.

Here's a screen shot of the current website that's popping up. Notice I placed the ATS window behind it. One website will always appear behind the ATS window.

Just blame the Israelis for it everyone else does.

No, no blame it on the Christians, everything that is wrong with the world is their fault.

Actually, I know I have divulged things on here that
really were in the past top secret
due to being a military brat and spouse
who were seen as background and not
paid attention to when things were being
discussed. After over 50 years of it
well I know a lot of things I shouldn't.

So, I actually vote for NSA as #1
then as #2
pissed of junior who was verbally throttled
by members and then kicked off for manners violation.

I think you might have some spyware on your machine that is causing those sites to show up.

Is there a possible link between SEA (Syrian Electronic Army) and the hacks here? Here is a blog written in 2013 describing the types of hacking they are involved with, mainly with places like this and other news agencies etc
Link

And also to add to this that may also link you up I dont want to say much other then WTF about this person and their views, also linking ATS to this person
Please read this SO

Despite her trolling over Assad’s enemies, despite her appearances on Assad-friendly media outlets, and despite her connections to pro-Assad hackers

“I did definitely post on AboveTopSecret,” she told The Daily Beast, without confirming her use of any particular handle

I interpreted that there was more then one handle because she declined to disclose the Syrian girl account was obvious as it was used everywhere else. I saw the tie to sea and then the types and targets of sea's attacks along with trending information and threads here and thought I would say something. I hope I wasn't to brash and making an all out accusation on someone but I see a possibility there. Only SO prolly knows all the details.
