New Canadian Gov. is Liberal maj. and Harper will step-down as a party chief.

Really hope Trudeau will correct some of the mess Harper have done to Canada!!!

The turnout for this election were exceptionnally high, meaning Canadian were decided to get rid of someone...

Well it was time for a change..they all are clowns in one way or another but the cons are not too Canadian in spirit. I thought it would be a little closer.
I would love to know voter turnout this time.

From everything I've seen, Harper was the true garbage of Canadian politics. Glad to see him gone. You sound very bitter about the whole situation.... cheer up.... at least you don't have to deal with the Republicans we have in the United States

I say let the man have his chance, he's straight out the gate and already people have no faith.

Oh and I didn't vote liberal but I believe everyone has their time to show what their made of.

As for the voter turnout, everyone I know voted today because like others have said we are looking for a change.

Not all the votes are in, but it's looking very promising for the Liberal Party, and Trudeau (took me three tries to spell that...Harper's much easier.) to take over.

For better or for worse, you all got the change many wanted. Just like the U.S. did with Mr. Obama.

I think it was pretty good, same here in regard's to everyone I know voted. I think 3.6 million voted in the advanced voting.

So a pothead named Justin is now a world leader.

All we've done is trade one load of garbage for another, equally stinky, sticky and full of sh!t. It's father started the destruction of canada with the privatization of the bank of canada.
