Waiting for my CIA bucks to roll in, any day now...
you guys act like that is so shocking that companies pay off critics to say their stuff is good . . . am I on the right website? This isn't actually "below common sense"?

You did not say companies paid to have the reviews for Bigelow's films be rated highly, you said the CIA did and that ALL of the ratings were paid for.

That is below common sense.

Maybe some of the guys don't get that she was/is a feminist icon

How ?

Some alien slug in a galaxy far, far, far away dressed her up in some skimpy outfit. That another bunch of aliens in another galaxy far,far away had to come save her.

Some how American politics just don't apply.

Well, she was being pursued by the Empire's sinister agents while racing home aboard her starship, custodian of secret plans which could destroy the DEATH STAR, save her people and restore freedom to the galaxy

See? All you see is some chick that needs rescuing

It's not about American politics. It's about feminism. There's a difference

Process leia was fearless and dedicated to ending tyranny of the empire. She was handy with a blaster too. I thought she would be the ultimate role model. If ever I have influence over a female child, she will be introduced to leia as a positive role model and to take no crap.
