When I see Your UserName I think of a Library. Here is an image I had in My Uploads here for one, if You might want to use it for an Avatar... I cropped it from a larger image, and sized it to better fit the Avatar Box here at ATS... Someone in the "Avatar Creations 2015" Thread can help You install it.
Or I can assist You in that endeavor, if You so choose to want the help, or need it, from Me...

Reminds me of a snowflake. It's simple yet complex all at same time.

No doubt, but the story is where the good part begins and it was VERY memorable.

I love when things like that happen! A poke from somewhere beyond "us". That would make an awesome framed pic on my wall of "interesting"....ahem....

I can smell the leather and knowledge in that room. I could lose myself for years in there and be content.

I know right? And strange thing about old Leather; When I smell it, like from an old pair of Boots, I usually envision a room full of Old Musty Laether Bound Books, Stacks of them, and some on shelves, some opened up on small podiums. Perhaps some old Books of WitchCraft, Wizard's Spells, Etc...
The room is not very well organized, like the neat and tidy Library in that image I posted. More like in an old Castle lower section, (Not sure if it's actually the Dungeon levels underground or not...). I say Castle because I can also smell old stone walls, when smelling Old Leather...

I have a lot of visions of Me being in a BlackSmith Shop of Old... Can smell the melting Steel, or Hot Orange Glowing Steel being worked on an Anvil with a Heavy Hammer...

Sorry Now I ramble... Thanx for Your responses to My Posts. Makes Me feel appreciated again... Syx...

Candles everywhere, flickering light against the dishabled piles of aging leathered bindings, a grimoire open for all anxious eyes go gaze upon and learn the ancient knowledge and rhythms of the spiral of life...

Yeah I get the verisimilitude as well. I am a shopkeeper, selling sunderies, herbals, soaps. But my shop has no library, but is next door....always calling me.

Past life, perhaps...

Love that First Paragraph You wrote up there! Oh look out the window, Theres a Gargoyle on that Roof-Top! Hmmm, it looks pretty real! Oh Jeeeez! LOOK OUT Here it comes!!! LMAO!!!

Perhaps a past life is indeed what is going on with You, And Me... When I mentioned I had a lot of visions of Me in a BlackSmith's Shop, It happens a lot. Not just when I smell Old Leather... The visions are usually in broad daylight when I am day dreaming. But I have dreams at night of that Shop as well... Hmmm Maybe those visions is part of why I am Obsessed with Dragons so much!?

My Longest lasting job, (before I messed up My lower back, and had 4 surgeries so cannot work a full time job. Might be able to put in a few days a week. But not in a row! LOL! That would land Me right back in a Hospital Bed!!
) was in a Fabricating Shop for about 9 years. We made HUGE Steam Tube Dryers that are used to dry tons of like Corn, other grains, or chemicals at for instance Dow Chemical, and Johnson and Johnson's...

( I think I have a picture of one that was one hundred feet long made of Stainless Steel. It sold for about 3 Million Dollars. no Joke!!If I do, Will post it at the end of this post...) I was a Welder mainly but can run all types of Metal Working Machines.; Planers, RAdial Arm Drill Press, Saws of various types, Lathes, etc...

SO in short, I love Steel and always was fascinated with it. Even as a youngster... I love the smell of Melting Iron, or smells of Welding! Ok gonna Fly now. Is nice talking to You! And Oh, By the Way. Nice to Meet You!

Cool I still had the pix of a Dryer here in My uploads!
Here's the largest Dryer We ever Made!! The small round's on the end are the ends of Tubes that run the entire length of the dryer. Oh, The Dryer takes up two train cars to haul! (If they let Me Shape-Shift into My Dragon form, I could have them put Straps on it and I could just Fly it to Wherever it was going!!! LMAO!!!)

Wet Product, (Even liquids that turn into powder after the drying process), is dumped into the end, (That is covered with a wood shipping protector.) Then Very Hot Steam is run through the tubes so that when the Dryer is rotating on huge rollers, the product inside will tumble and fall through the Tubes and be dryed completely by the time it reaches all the way down to the end!!

I was going to use this Dryer Pic for My avatar at one point here. I had been talking to someone about Welding, etc., a while back...

Ok Here's our Pride and Joy!!

Here's the Card We got after Completing That Dryer!!

Ok Later and Sorry this was so long. Thank You for bearing with Me on this... LAter, Syx.....

Gargoyles are very misunderstood.

Nice to meet you as well!

That is a ginormous dryer!!! Deserved more than a thank you card, IMHO.

ENJOYED the story. Perhaps not past life, just a different reality of this one...
