Trump referred to as 'truther' after linking Bush and 911

"When you talk about George Bush, I mean, say what you want, the World Trade Center came down during his time," Trump said Friday morning on Bloomberg TV.

Bloomberg anchor Stephanie Ruhle interjected, "Hold on, you can't blame George Bush for that," before Trump stood by his comments.

"He was president, OK? ... Blame him, or don't blame him, but he was president. The World Trade Center came down during his reign," Trump said.

If you translate the Trumpspeak, I think he's saying that it wasn't just Bush's responsibility, but is also blaming him in a very vague way. I'm sure Trump has enough insider information to know what really happened on 911, but he's also smart enough to know he can't cross that boundary.

Bush's White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer told CNN Friday that Trump sounds like a "truther," slang for someone who believes the U.S. government was behind the attacks.

"When Donald Trump implies that since 9/11 took place on Bush's watch he is partially responsible for it, he's starting to sound like a truther," he said. "And after all, does Donald Trump also think since Pearl Harbor happened on FDR's watch that FDR is responsible?"

Quick to make sure that no one takes his comments out of context, or in case they did (that it's a bad thing), former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer jumps in to save the day and the establishment. Any attack against GWB is an attack against Jeb, and the establishment.

'Truther' isn't just slang, it's a pejorative, and may be one of the worst insults you could call someone. Normally insults are based on a flaw or judgement, but in this case they're used for someone who questions the truth.

I like Trump.. not to be POTUS.. but I like Trump. He speaks his mind and some of the things he says are on point. I think he'd be a terrible diplomat though. I like how he brings up things such as this 9/11 event. At the time, it didn't really cross my mind that he was possibly saying Bush was 'in' on the attack, he just sounded arrogant as usual.

I figure, if Trump wants to know something, he has the money to get the information he desires. Although, to be real about it.. Of course he knows, cause I know and you know and the world knows. He has money, you know he knows what really went down that day.

Reminds me of this though. Idc what anybody says. Bush knew about 9/11 before hand. There's plenty of evidence.

Sorry, but I disagree. The truthers will try to latch on. The RNC will try to make Trup a wacky truther, as will the DNC.

As best I can tell, he wasn't claiming that it was a Bush inside job. He was saying that Bush and his administration were so dumb that it happened on their watch despite warning signs.

He's just doing what he can do best to gain attention, a Trumpeter. And an attention-whore, but we've got that already covered with my devilish analogy to an ... instrument. On a second thought I shouldn't talk bad about wind instruments either, lot's of hot air. *sigh*

That's pretty vague and isn't enough to peg him as a Truther. Of course, the MSM and friends would run with it. Trump could just mean that Bush was incompetent, not planned it, etc. Incompetency accusations doesn't make one a Truther but rather Bush and family can't handle the country.

I blame Bush, Rice, the FBI, CIA, and even the FAA for ignoring numerous intelligence warnings flowing in from countries around the world that Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda would use hijacked airliners in their attack on the United States.

Let's remember that Osama bin Laden issued multiple "Declarations of War" against the United States prior to his 9/11 attack.

I think I should point out that referencing 911 as he did was not necessarily an unwise move, politically. He's broached the topic, casting an unspoken suspicion to the audience, without making any specific accusations. I'd guess that a majority of Americans believe that there is more to the 911 story than the official story would have us believe. He's already doing a good job portraying himself as an anti-establishment type of guy, so how does this hurt him exactly? I mean, he hasn't gone spouting off any crazy theories or anything, right? He's also got them all talking about him again, too, doesn't he? Trying to shred him, but it's really just free publicity.

It's a good jab at Jeb, too, I think. If he can make Jeb act the fool over it, that could also be a political victory.

I don't know what Trump knows. We just know he was not in favor of Bush's policies and does not want Jeb Bush in the Whitehouse. His reaction was telling when he dodged the question. Post 9/11 Trump was known to dislike Bush. Pre 9/11 I think he may have been more favorable to Bush in office but I am not sure.

The 911 attacks were the direct result of incompetence of the FBI. They were doing a sting operation to determine who was responsible for Flight 800, and one of the 911 flights was canceled as to encourage the hijackers to believe that it was a sign from Muhammed to not continue - but they did anyway.

Flight 800 occurred on July 17, 1996, and July 17 was the day that Iraqis celebrated the takeover coup by Saddam. Flight 800 was in response to Bill Clinton issuing an apology to Iran in the beginning of 1996 for the US accidently downing Flight 655 on July 3, 1988. When Clinton apologized, the Iranians twisted the apology around to make it appear that the US intentionally bombed flight 655 on July 3rd as a pre celebration of Independence Day, so they bombed Flight 800 on Iraqs Independence Day as revenge.

The FBI covered up the Flight 800 mess just so they could perform the sting operation, which led to 911. They were trying to figure out the meaning of the "800" used, so they got a few Muslims fired up over the anniversaries of 9/11. They used Flight 11 to commemorate Bush Sr's speech 11 years earlier on 9/11/1990, mentioning a "new world order", and Flight 175 was to commemorate the murder of William Morgan, an anti mason, 175 years earlier on 9/11/1826. Flight 77 was to commemorate the conception of Barbara Bush 77 years earlier on 9/11/1924 by Aleister Crowley during an OTO ritual of the 11th degree. The last flight was supposed to be Flight 60 to commemorate the groundbreaking of building the pentagon 60 years earlier on 9/11/1941, but that flight was canceled and the terrorists were supposed to go back and lead the FBI to their nest

Instead they substituted flight 93 because they didn't care about the flight numbers. This is why flight 93 left long after all the others, and was 2 hijackers short. The FBI downplayed it and said that there was only 1 hijacker short.

This is also why we invaded Iraq. Bush believed that Iraq was responsible for Flight 800 because of Iraqs celebration on that date. This is also why every victim's family of 911 was paid $1 million each by the government. It was to keep their mouths shut about the FBIs incompetence. It is more likely that a few FBI members let it happen intentionally, as they were in the OTO and wanted to gain an upper hand by eavesdropping on everyone. Coincidentally Aleister Crowley's ashes are scattered at exactly the same latitude as the word trade center, and exactly 50 miles west. If you think that's the end of the terror wait until Jeb Bush gets elected. He will serve as the second horn of Crowley, when Iran bombs Israel on 9/11/2017.

The attack of 9/11 was intended to mock Genesis 9:11, and they aren't finished yet. Wait until Jeb gets in.

A ton of false and misinformation here. These forums bring out a lot of non credible information but some good information does make it to the internet.

Trump is wish washy on 9/11 and just repeated the party line of what happened. I have heard rumors Israeli intelligence may have been in Trump buildings in Florida with front operations.

Bin Laden did not carry out these attacks and he was not capable of doing so. He died as well before we said we captured him.

Trumps real knowledge is unknown on the matter. I believe Trump would make a better President than Obama and Bush Jr. but Trump does not have any inside political experience. I am taking a second hard look at Governor Christie who by the way is affiliated with the Port Authority due to his governorship.
