I would literally give my left one to see a reporter go off like that and tell us the truth. They see everything that comes in, but have to cut it and pretty it up for the masses. And you can't have a segment over 30 seconds, or the audience attention goes to their phones to see what the latest Twit had to say.

Now that is how the news should be read.

There's a docu on the tube somewhere that explains that whole 'Outdoors bit.
They pretend that they've just snatched the latest out of some ministers hands, and rushed outside to tell the world.
The truth is, there's an office inside that releases the script for the reporter to read, the whole thing is a farce.
