And all I'm saying is we take all guns away from everyone because a small percentage of people used them in a nefarious way!

Seems logical unless you look at the statistics.

I am sorry I don't understand. Statistics are a science and I don't trust science. But if I did trust science, I don't, but if I did, I certainly would only pick the statistics that sound in line with own point of view and would certainly try to grossly simplify the complicated issue with a slightly witty comeback, brother.

So you're not using any statistics? Do you have anything that corroborates your opinion? Any evidence?

I'm not being picky. It's just a thought that came to me a few years ago.

All this talk about guns being dangerous, people being dangerous, etc. A gun is no more dangerous than a flower pot. It's the force that propels the projectile/s that's dangerous. Live ammunition in a fire presents a danger without a gun or person.

Looking at it this way increases awareness of all the different ways ammunition can be dangerous without a finger on the trigger, or even a trigger.

You know why? Because if they're stopped before the situation turns into a mass shooting, then there is no mass shooting.


Another thing that really gets me about these statistics with firearms violence/deaths is that they include shootings done by cops. I wish they would separate those out. I mean you'd think some of them would be justified... maybe?

There is no "good" or "bad" gun. Only the person holding it.
My guns are not dangerous all by themselves. They stay locked up till I get them out, load them and shoot them. They don't go wandering off by themselves, looking for trouble.

Careful what you wish for. The quickest way for gun ownership to increase in the United States is for a mass shooting to occur and the Democrats start talking about gun control. Once that happens the NRA lobbying machine kicks into gear and thus gun sales go through the roof.

There should at least be 100 times more guns in America. Then we would all be safe from the guns. Because we be able to shoot the guns before we got shot with the guns and therefore there'd be no more gun killings or barely any.
