it should be big front page news. not only that, it should be detailed how the guy was killing people based on their world view. this needs to be in big flashing lights. that's precisely what ISIS is supposedly doing, and what hitler did, and stalin, and pol pot, and mao, and the catholic inquistion,etc. you don't see us removing that data from intense scrutiny.

this guy's world view doesn't get a free pass to homicide his way thru society based on a difference of opinion.

What does it matter about anyones world view who was killed?, dead is dead..it was one individual not an organized group, an organized group and I could agree as one might expect further attacks.

hasn't stopped anyone from glamorizing ISIS or any other notorious killers. we learned every detail of the manson family. what makes this guy special?

Maybe that is the problem then..it is very apparent the culture is severely damaged now, we have the new generation coming up who are pretty much disconnected and disassociated to violence..they live it every day.

what if he was from ISIS and that was the actual questions people were asked by ISIS before they were beheaded, drowned, set on fire, buried alive, and otherwise tortured to death or flat out murdered. you'd want to know if they were on your kid's college campus.

This guy is no more special than James Holmes, Jared Loughner, Adam Lanza, Elliot Rodger, Vester Flanagan/Bryce Williams etc. etc., etc. Lonely, mentally disturbed young males who want to make their mark on the world and not be invisible any more. Giving them what they want will show all the other lonely, mentally disturbed young males who want to make their mark on the world that they too can stop being invisible by being "famous with a gun".

this argument is only presented though, when something the killer has done or is associated with, doesn't fit the agenda (either you aren't supposed to know its happening or it focuses attention to an area people haven't been made aware of before)

guaranteed if this guy was a specific religion, it would be huge news.

The families have a right to know everything about the killer of their loved one. The American People do as well. I really don't think these killers are thinking "famous" when they perpetrate these attacks. Something else is going on and by shutting out information, our ability to examine the possibilities are limited.

Im not for info being banned in any way..just no need to nationally advertise 1 lone loser with no affiliation, if he was with IS than public info/notification could be relevant as the problem with IS is ongoing.

I didn't think so.

in the same vein, stalin was able to keep the western press from reporting that he was starving the entire ukraine to death, in their own homes, in the biggest concentration camp in history. why didn't they report it ? wasn't beneficial to the agenda. something about this guy's case being given a sudden hush hush, wreaks of agenda

Your sense of entitlement is misplaced, I am sorry but who exactly are you? Are you somehow involved in this vile act? A detective perhaps, or maybe you lost somebody to this animal?

Is it titillation you seek, all the lurid details maybe? Do not worry, you will be able to find them if you look hard enough.

Whether or not you have a RIGHT to this information is more than debatable, I personally believe that not giving this "person" exposure is the right way to go.

Not so odd when the mentally disturbed man who is tired of being invisible knows that his name will go down in history with 24/7 news coverage and internet fame. He has seen it time and time again lately, so he knows what reaction his action will get.

We need to take a step back and out tin foil hats off about this.

A solution is needed, and it does seem like they do this for attention, so depriving that attention very well prevent someone for doing this again.
