Was out delivering the mail when a V formation of fighters came thru. Caught the tail end with only 2 trailing. What are they. My brain tells me yf-23

. But I'm wrong.

Those could be F-22's or F-35's, but look closer to F-22's. Hard to say with 100% certainty due to the quality of the video. I'd go with F-22's tho.

F-22's. Their wings love to leave vapor trails. Nice video catch too, we need more like that.

Not Bugs, They do not have canted tails. F-22's for sure

They're Raptors. The angle makes the wings look different, but I've seen enough of them from that angle to recognize them.

Oh good lord no. They built almost 200 of them. There are something like 183 flying (or is it 187, I'm too lazy to double check right now) They're louder than you expect. You're thinking the B-2. They built 21, and lost one in a crash.

They do. But I had all of them go over my place in Alabama heading out of, and back to Marietta. That's a view I saw a lot. At first it struck me how much like a Hornet they looked. Then weird things started happening and I ignored it.

Thank you. I always hear jets go by. Seeing them is the hard part. They sound far away when they are over head, then they are gone.

What do you call it when an F-22 and F-16 go behind a cloud, you hear both still, but only see the F-16 afterwards?

Weird is a reasonable thing to say. You had a similar comment a year or two back so I thought that's what you may have been referring to. But now you know how they managed to do this, if memory serves.
