Donald Trump Says If Elected President, He'll Send Back Syrian Refugees Taken In By The U.S.

The wall idea is a bit dated, and hasn't really worked in other places. However, Trump is saying the things people want to hear, that much is clear. Many Americans are tired of hearing about how they "need" immigrants, how vital it is to the american economy. Most Americans don't want the Syrian refugees, don't want more Muslim immigrants period. Why must the US take in people it believes don't share their values? Why? Where have Muslim immigrants gone in recent years and actually integrated? France, Sweden, Australia, Denmark, the Nederlands?

While I agree that it's probable that many of the refugees will be extreme militants, I have to side with the notion that, if a country willingly accepts people in, the next leader should not just send them back like a sweater that doesn't fit.

These are human beings.

That said, we shouldn't be taking them in at all until we can get a handle on our own country, first. I'm tired of taking care of other countries' citizens with my tax dollars when we have so many in our own nation that struggle on a daily basis. IF we are going to give tax dollars to individuals, I'd prefer it be to individuals living on our own streets, who are American citizens first.

Islam is a religion, not a race, America is secular (or so I'm told on ATS), so why is a persons faith an impediment to moving to America? If you decline someone immigrating due to their religion of choice then you have just made a mockery of your constitution.

Actually, he personally don't care about Illegal Mexicans Being In America and Syrians, etc... He wants to become a POTUS. So, in order to become one , he has to target his campaigns to (majority):

LOL...totally agree with you on that one. They want freedom? First help build a wall...payment is food and a tent. Once Syria is cleaned up...send them back because they are illegals.

Reality is...everybody wants to be nice when media is involved. I recently watched a reporter go out to ask Muslims is Sharia Law is higher than the US Constitution. The majority of Muslims said they believe more in Allah because He is the ruler. They didn't believe in the Constitution, but because they live in US they have to follow the law in the country.

The bottom line is the more Muslims that arrive in the US the more they will push for Sharia Law because that is how they live life in THEIR culture. Watch in years to come how the refugees will oppress their culture onto US citizens, Christians to be exact, and you will start to see the civil unrest...especially if ISIS begins attacking more and more on US soil.

I say once ISIS is taken out...send the refugees back. The only reason they are fleeing is because of the war...THAT'S IT. Without war, they can live peacefully there. Lack of jobs in US doesn't need any more people coming over until everyone has a job that is a US citizen. Nuff said.

And it's true some people really just don't get or never will get the reason immigration laws exist in the first place.

The majority of American immigrated here LEGALLY.

IMO the world continents and countries used to be organized into places of religion. Now when you have countries with mixed religions you get competition between cultures within the country that both religions live in. The war on terror? This is a war on RELIGION....so when you see someone bending over 5 times a day to pray to Allah...you have to now wonder (if you are non muslim) whether there will be another bombing going on. Sad to say but that is how the media is playing this out on all of us.

And to be honest, I cannot tell the difference between a good Muslim to an extreme Islamist that is hiding in their closet these days.

Christianity comes bundled with Christian law. What's the difference? We've been dealing with Christian law here in this country with the gay marriage ruling. Christians didn't get their way with that, why would you think that Muslims would get their way with THEIR religious laws? Because breitbart told you so? That's ridiculous. Muslims are a very small minority of our population (even WITH these refugees). It is FAR more likely, considering the demographics of total Christians and Muslims in the country, that we'd convert those Muslims to Christianity before they converted a mass amount of us to Islam.

If the Muslim is stateside, assuming he is a terrorist is ignorant. And statistically, you'd have better chances of assuming any Christian you met was a terrorist since there have been FAR more Christian terrorists than Muslim ones stateside.
