I think i found an advantage humans have over the greys.

Well don't we have better DNA structure, after all there trying to steal ours. We are taller than them more muscular, can probably run faster. In a fight with out guns or technology could we beat the living crap out of them? the gray that is.

In all the si-fi movies it always comes down to hand to hand combat. Don't you just love it in independents when will smith knocks the alien out and says "welcome to earth" we held up pretty good against aliens in that movie.

Yes, members of the human species not withstanding a few tin foil types exist in a state quatively defined as reality, greys, reptoids, eye-monsters, mutant slime and all others do not.

I'll agree that if there are small physically weak aliens which I believe many describe the greys as that type, then we could kick the crap out of them in a physical fight. Then one day an alien like in the movie Predator will come along and kick the crap out of us in a physical fight. I guess someone just needs to set up some galactic boxing matches between humans and aliens and we could all see.

I think you should read some of the accounts a little closer... While the common description may make them seem frail physically, according to abduction accounts, this is not the case. I'd especially reference the abductions starting around 1957. Many report being surprised by the beings' strength when they tried to escape, fight back.

Likewise, while it's nice to speculate about "what ifs", such as what if the tech advantage was out of the equation....it simply isn't, it's part of the equation.

I do think we have an advantage though, again, based on the accounts of their mannerisms, etc. They seem more like bio-robots than individuals, and our unpredictability, ingenuity, etc., may make us quite a handful when the # hits the fan....

Do you think if aliens are going to come down to meet with any human being, they are going to just 'forget' their lasers n stuff? lol

Just think about it... We are human beings... aliens are not dumb.

but if it all came down to it, i think theyd still whoop our asses... They gotta have a mean head butt

We have lasers and tractor beams to! there probably the one who told us how to make them. I am sure if the whole population was equipped with some of the weaponry our government has available we could whoop ET's @$$.

by the way does any one know what their average life span is or what there home planets population is.

since my posts are too long, I'll try to be short here:

1)People have tried to use guns on aliens before. The guns either don't go off or the bullets are 'deflected' from the aliens
2)Most of the time, the aliens (of every type) put people in a type of trance. This ability to 'stun' a person appears to be an innate ability they have.
3)If an alien is near you, the odds are that you are already stunned.
4)There have been some reports of the 'stun' being only partially effective. At the MIT abduction conference a few years ago researchers mentioned several instances where the 'stun' was broken after the abductee worked themselves up to a rage. Perhaps irrational, almost bestial thoughts/attitudes can break the telepathic feedback between alien and human?
5)As Gaz said, the aliens are unusually strong. However, I suspect that this apparent strength is a result of the aliens' dulling or weakening human muscles.
6)Remember that the aliens usually work at night and have oversized eyes... think about that. A flash cube might be a handy piece of equipment.
7)Are you afraid of lions? Would you be afraid of a raging neanderthal as it came at you? Remember... they might secretly eb afraid of you as much as you are afraid of them.

That all being said... I DO NOT think that the aliens are villians. If they were just interested in experimenting on humans they could annihilate the Earth's combined militaries and abduct shiploads of people at once. My personal belief is that they are gentically altering people so that, when they reveal themselves, their will be humans that have the ability to telepathically communicate with them.

so do we humans have any thing to fear from them, once they revile them selfs? How will this affect the world, Will the government finely tell us about the years of secrecy regarding them? When they do come down will they let humans work with them, I for one would love to get to know them and study their culture.

C'mon now, we've only had guns for a few hundred years! How did we make out before that? Your response explains nothing. Anyways, what do the greys have, superior to guns?

My point is that physical size and power are nice to have, but not determinative. We rule Earth because of brains and sophistication. On these factors, we have no information and no basis for a comparative assessment, other than a reasonable expectation that the Greys have superior technology.

While I'm here, I may point out that we do have other advantages: numbers (apparently) and incumbancy (familiarity and ease of use of our environment). Perhaps there are others. I haven't thought deeply about it.

Your posting also appears to assume a hostile, or at least a competitive relationship with the Greys - they may simply be uninterested in such a dynamic. If they needed to demonstrate superiority, it might be made very clear to our detriment, for all we know - which isn't much.

well what makes them immortal there just as fragile as we are. its all about who can squeeze the trigger first. But then again if they can put us in a trans a gun would be useless.

But like I said its all question. I am not stating fact or personal opinion all I am really asking is "What if?" and whats wrong with that.
