There's a name for the disorder for not having sex. It's called marriage.
Lol I like that one.
Thanks, I'm glad someone finally got it. I think the joke was lost on some people considering the serious responses when quoting.

I got it! But seems no one got my quite subtle joke.
The DSM and the psychiatric community need to get sex out of their little heads, if they think lack of desire is mental illness.
To subtle perhaps.

Some days I'm as bad as a buck in rut. Sometimes I have periods that I have no interest in sex and get enjoyment out of more solitary activities.
It is normal in mammals to have various hormonal states based on environmental factors.
Exactly. Thank you for typing what I was thinking.
Just like everytime a DSM thread shows up on ATS people have it wrong. A major criteria that applies to most diagnosed is that a person must feel like the disorder is negatively affecting their life in some way. Otherwise they wouldn't be seeing a psychiatrist/psychologist. Despite what people on here may think a mental health professional can't just diagnose you and then force you to receive treatment. The only exception is if it can be proven to a judge that you pose a threadt to yourself or others.
If you aren't having sex but you don't mind then you don't suffer from this disorder.

Anybody that thinks the DSM has any validity or credibility is crazy and should be treated with pills.
See what I did there?
