"I've always been a Democrat, but the party left me," Davis said, according to Bansley.

I'm pretty sure the Democratic party was NEVER on her side to begin with...

Me too.

"Southern" Right Wing Fundamental Christian "Democrat".

Say what?!?!?

We will get no where in bridging the gap of the two sides without some type of compromise.

Agreed. The governor offered her a compromise and she refused. SHE is the one not willing to compromise. You do realize that the essence of compromise if that BOTH SIDES have to give something, right?

Since June, the government of Kentucky has been willing to compromise and accommodate her personal religious beliefs. SHE has not. She could just let her deputies issue valid licenses, but she continues to mess with people's lives.

Did you read my whole post? She CONFISCATED gay people's marriage licenses and altered them to make them illegal.

NAH
faulty reporting
The first communication with the judge that put her in jail was a plea let others in the office issue the license. He denied her that right and tried to force herself to sign off on it and only after being in jail did she decide to not sign off on the false documents. The judge started this fued

This lady clearly lives in her own reality. I read earlier that she is trying to sue the governor now claiming that he is at fault for the situation she is in.

not compromise of actual right but just working with eachother in a positive manner

as a government official, she established a religious test...which is against the law....government officials cannot do that, it violates the establishment clause written into the constitution....amazing that the 2nd amendment boys are not condemning her for violating the constitution.....

Because this is dealing with Same Sex couples. maybe people wont admit it, but it's true... if this was a store not selling Guns, or a place not letting people have their "Religion" this would be a Nationwide Concern and action would take place...

I know.

The governor actually agrees with her on "gay" marriage, but told her its the law and she needs to follow it.

I know the gun stores refusing to sell to Muslims are being investigated.

But, doubt that would be on O'Reilly.

It makes sense now, it wasn't a big story because the person was Muslim

Where did you read that I said he stated he needed a gun for jihad?

the salesman believed the weapon would be used for violence ie jihad

yes that is my personal addition to the story

the word jihad was mine but the salesman believed that violence would happen and I support any salesman that feels that way about any sale(unless it is me)

but
but both times you used the example you never mentioned any details that the story had to have

all you said is that everyone would get mad if sales of a gun was refused

Sorry, i should have clarified that example better, people would care if it wasn't about GLBTQ+ or Muslims, or "Progressive Liberal" or "Feminist"..

See, this is the problem.. you don't know how it feels until it's happened to you.. has it happened to me? yes
