Well all the various 9/23 predictions have been a bust... so... cue the next round of doom porn!

On second thought, please don't. It's beyond tiresome at this point... we passed "So sad that it's funny" about 5 predicted raptures ago

I know that feel bro!! I also tend to have a strange bit of hope that a doomsday situation will happen. Only way things will fix themselves... IMHO that is! Hopefully a few of us make it

So far the 23 has been a pretty regular day here, too, although I did hit a bunch of green lights on the way to work, so yay! And even made it in to work on time! Double yay!


After the 2012 hysteria (not just the Mayan calendar, but the whole year's worth of predictions-Timewave zero, comet Elenin, webots, drills near Denver airport and on and on and on), does anyone else kinda roll their eyes and think "here we go again" the next time another date is announced when the world is supposed to end?

I don't take end of the world predictions seriously. Yes, realistically, a prediction will come true some day, or maybe the end of the world will just sneak up on us. Who knows.

Since today was not that day, I'm gonna get off the 'puter, throw in a load of laundry, go mow the lawn and work on knitting my dogs some sweaters when I get done.


Can't have a pile of unwashed clothes in the hamper if the world ends in the next 7ish hours, you know....

I know it's a bit early for the COS ritualistias to take any credit but here's a short up date....

The church of the subgenius ritual to stave off the doom is in full swing. There are still a few topless dancers all hopped up on "drank" and Mt. Dew. The beer and wine drinkers/dancers have all gone back to their cars to "rest"....
The musicians have pretty much settled into a jazzy II, V, I groove and should be able to finish their session easily; to be replaced by a Homage to Jah combo. I'll keep updating until I pass out....I should be able to last until midnight till we get past the danger zone. It's a thankless job all this drinking and dancing and partying to save mankind but someone's got to do it.

Okay!! So, all remains normal.
On this end.

Someone hit my truck in the parking lot today, does that qualify as doom porn? Or do I really have to have a bad day?
