They tried to get it through just recently but our not so dearly departed Prime Minister, Tony Abbott stonewalled it.

He actually said he was against it 'because our Asian neighbours would see it as decademt' To which our closest Asian neighbour, Indonesia laughed.

At the end of the day, I am just thankful I do not live in Africa or the middle east. I'd most likely be dead by now if I were there.

Don't worry about it, man. In a way, you could consider this a trial by fire. Just digest what people are saying then grow from it. Sometimes we hurt people without realizing it simply because we don't know what they care about. But if we disregard their concerns or pain, it can only make the situation or misunderstanding even worse.

Give it a little time & reflection and I'm sure you'll be able to have a better dialogue with our LGBT brothers & sisters. Just remember that regardless of our demographics, we're all humans. We're all stuck on this planet so we might as well enjoy it together.

Did this thread give you some clarity or a different perspective of things? Yes? Well then this thread did what it was supposed to do. Deny ignorance, educate, ignite discussion.

Don't confuse people debating with your or explaining things to you, with anger. Most of the replies I read is simply passionate. There is some ignorance in the OP, and well, ATSers tend to not look kindly upon it. But don't take it personally - learn from it.

And the most important lesson to be learned in a thread addressing homosexuality: NEVER say "I'm not a homophobe, but..."
The fact that you think about homosexuality and how it impacts you, your religion, your family or morality says that you have some sort of issue with homosexuality. It doesn't necessarily make you a homophobe. You simply need to address what your issue is with homosexuality - and if people are able to convince you that homosexuality is not the devil's work... great. Someone else will come along and say "Oh, look. Satan won." That's fine. You need to weigh up everything that has been said and make up your own mind.

I was under the impression they were doing just fine and had been for awhile. No more a target than any other person, in the wrong place at the wrong time.

You say this in a thread targeted at gays, claiming they are pushing a sinister agenda somehow connected to satan.

I was saying the elite are attempting to control everything we eat, watch and think. I think they benefit from division amongst us.

The people who's rights have been attacked, are seperate, just pawns.

I may have a confusing religous outlook, im learning. Not sure if you read the part where I refuse to worship or believe in a god who would send someone to hell for a trivial lifestyle choice. That boggles my mind and pi$$es me off if true.

I'm pretty sure I made that clear in the opening post, so obviously not to appease anybody.

It seems you just don't like me, and are just rattling out the poor assumptions.

So you are saying that your thread really has nothing to do with the movement for equality for gay people?

Your OP is very confusing and contradictory. Just some friendly advice: next time, try writing it out on a piece of paper. Leave it for a few days, then go back and re-read it to see if you can improve or clarify it.

Just to clarify a few points:

- gay people as a group do not have a sinister agenda
- there have been gay people around since... forever, therefore GMOs causing gayness is a bit of a stretch
- there is nothing wrong or evil about a homosexual orientation, anymore than a heterosexual orientation
- if you worship Christ, go to a church, and follow what a preacher says (x/y chromosome nonsense) - you are indeed religious.

Irrespective of how you currently feel about the retorts in this thread, know this:

1. You will come away from this thread having learned something about this subject matter that was previously unknown or hidden from you.

2. Love is limitless and know no boundaries - the government and laws of men are the opposite of that.

3. I love and respect you like a brother and I have always enjoyed your mellow and kind contributions.

4. You can fight physical like a warrior, something I cannot do.

MsShrek is a lucky lady and you are a lucky bloke to have her. Hold Fast, we are all here to learn.

Couldn't have said it better.

We, the LGBT community in general, just want to be treated equally. We don't want anything else. Just equality. Why is that so difficult for some to understand?

Would a truly good God hate people for loving others? Isn't that one of the things he says, to love each other? Love thy neighbor as thyself?

All manner of horrible things, slavery, and other things i'm not sure I can say here, are perfectly fine to him, but people loving each other and not hurting anyone...isn't? Yeah if that really is how a God is I want no part of him.

I'm not saying there isn't a God, heck i'm polytheist myself and believe everyone has their own journey and truth in a way, but that doesn't sound like a nice God to me. Either i'd call God Satan or people have destroyed his image for their own gain or issues.

Respect the constructive critisism. No hard feelings towards any ATS members, I tend to get a little sensitive when I know I'm being falsely accused of things. Petty things, not referring to the subject matter I presented.

Everything can be an opportunity for learning, this was a good one!

Maybe I do have some gay issue I'm unaware of, I'm pretty sure I don't care. This thread was a result of a conversation with others. I'm far more interested in the hardcore tinfoil hat type material, and I thought I stumbled across a connection. "sinister!" lol, gonna lay off that word for awhile now.

I'll ignore the 'lifestyle choice' part of the above and have a wee giggle to myself instead. You sure know how to dig a hole...

However, the truth is we are only going to find out if the bible, God, Satan, heaven and hell are real when we die. Let your internal compass guide you in this life and do not a book be the only thing you rely on for guidance.

I still believe in God. because it is still meaningful and relevant to me, but I also live by my conscience, not the pages of the bible.

You were never a second class citizen to begin with. You had all the same rights as anyone else. You had the right to marry just like anyone else. Gay marriage is a special accommodation for a special group of people and should be regarded as such.

Maybe attempting, but not succeeding.

There are more organic food since people are becoming aware. You get to choose watch you will watch on TV, it is not mandatory. Some people enjoy gay people being included on TV. Different people want to watch different things. You have freedom of speech, you can call someone of satan and deceived and people have the same freedom of speech to think the same about you.

Nope. You get the right to gay marriage, too.

Jesus said if you love me you will follow my commandments and the commandments of my father. God states you shall not lay down with a man the way you do with a woman. And if you do not follow any of his commandments then you reject him. I once believed live and let live. But now I can't support such an abomination. By supporting them I too will be condemned. Do not confuse yourselves is this love or lust. God is OK with man loving his fellow man but the lust part is what he opposes. This goes for heterosexuals
As well you can love a woman but do not lust for the flesh until marriage. Lust is one of the 7 deadly sins. God knows man is weak and he does forgive but he doesn't forgive the state of sin. Jesus was not politically correct he said things that shocked everyone. He spoke the truth he said it how it was. As for homosexuality I see it like the emperors new clothes. Everyone is too afraid to speak out against it. Not me. I don't hate gays but pray for them to stop sinning. Satan can't touch you unless God gives him permission. Now that we are at the 7th millennium God has commanded Satan to work harder to take as many souls as he can. The gates of hell are wide open. Enough room for all. Too me homosexuality is

The gates of hell.

Braver than I piney, though I have difficulty accepting that anybody accept the true evil ones be burned for eternity, your post is refreshing.

The backlash I recieved here, without even being rude, only hinting Im not on the ship, eerily reminds me of what the bible warns us.

Yeah, the gates of hell may literelly opened today actually. But the deceiver has been putting in work for some time.

No, gay people did not previously have the right to marry the consenting adult of their choice, as heterosexual people did. Now, ALL people can marry the consenting adult of their choice. NOW, we all have the same rights.

Oh dear......

Let me guess. by that you mean that I had the same right as anyone else to marry someone of the opposite sex right?

What good is an option if I can't actually use it?

Do you not get that I am not married to a woman through lack of opportunity?

How and why is my relationship with someone of the same sex less worthy? You do understand we have the same feelings of love, the same stupid arguments, the same support for one another as heterosexual relationships don't you?

The ultimate sex in the occult is not male or female but both, the hermaphrodite is seen as the person who is complete, self sufficient and able to impregnate themselves.

Now that same sex marriage is legal in the US it is legal for these couples to have children. The next step is to spend research money on creating a viable embryo from the genetic material of two eggs and then two sperm. The resulting zygote will be implanted in a surrogate womb. (BTW This will create a third sex as 1 in 4 sperm/sperm will be YY egg/egg zygotes can only produce XX, but I digress. After that, it is no step to take two eggs or sperm from the same person and make a "human", supposedly what a true hermaphrodite can do. They are already working on making a man pregnant.

By doing this anyone who is senior enough and elite enough but was not born "lucky" enough to be hermaphrodite (all of them), will be given the transhumanal option of being an hermaphrodite thus reaching occultic sexual perfection - in a perverted sort of way. The rest of the half a billion worker bees (today's useful idiots)will eventually be bred The Matrix style.

Just because this would make a good movie, doesn't mean it is not true.

This! We all know I did an atrocious joke of a job at it. Take the good with the bad.......but this is what I'm getting at! It started with the genetics of foods, of course we will start messing with the genetics of humans. This will create unnatural humans, will they have souls? Scientists playing God. And we're all so busy arguing about some meaningless PC bs. This is more along the lines of the thoughts I was hoping to provoke.

Is it not odd so many are boiling over with emotion considering this?

If anything we should join together all types of wonderful people and take a close look at the refugee situation, where'd the Trojan horse end up?.......oh wait Nevermind I just saw an fb post abut equal rights,......what were we talking about again .

I see your point OP. What I think you're saying is that the agenda goes far beyond any kind of equal rights or protections under the law. It''s about destroying our very foundations as human beings; destroying the family, community, sense of self but especially any traditional ideas about male and female roles.

No child was ever produced by a gay couple. Heterosexual couples are the foundation of all societies. The current loss in child bearing among European and American people is in some ways a reflection of that agenda at work. Children benefit from structure while growing up, it offers stability. When we have children 6 and 7 years old wondering which gender they are because some tv show or teacher at school prompts them to question themselves I think we have a problem. Until they want to start thinking about their own sexuality kids don't benefit by being exposed to massive amounts of sexual material.

I think the agenda the OP is speaking of is that early sustained exposure that children suffer.

GoShredAK - you have stepped fully in the PC battlefield with this issue. There are several others topics so sacrosanct I automatically question their validity. You still have the right to question ANYTHING you want. The more screeching and violent the responses you get the more you know you hit a nerve.
