You don't mention Goldsmiths 10 years of tax evasion whilst claiming to be non-dom. This man has a personal inherited fortune of 200 million and he is too tight to pay £6 million which is estimated to be what he owes.

Its great he has good ideas - I don't deny we need them, but surely he should be in jail in any case like any fraudster because however nice he is is it OK for criminals to sit in our parliament surely our MP's should set a good example erHm.

www.cps.gov.uk...

Its worth a glance through this article because it tells us that this kind of fraud costs ordinary british families £759 each year. So its not a victimless or ha ha-type crime. It gives the numbers of people who are prosecuted each year.

I do wonder though if you are right about Corbyn, isn't it because he doesn't represent the middle like Blair and all the other recent labour leaders which is why people want him. That is his appeal to me.

Please God not Osborne, I can't think of anyone apart from Blair and Brown I can stand less. Cameron's initiation is causing hilarity around the world, I doubt people will look at him without think of the dead pig - its too bizarre to go away - had it been a hooker certainly low impact but necrozoophelia - that's notoriety and quite another 'delightful antic altogether.

You made me laugh, for all we know it could be Osborne who has supplied some of the dirt on Cameron.

However I doubt he will be any more popular as he is merely a plastic copy of cameron and I wonder if the Tories don't understand this. We also don't know what Ashcroft has on Osborne - interesting times as undoubtedly Osborne will have people who want his job.

There may or there may not be a plot but it looks like one could start up if this is spontaneous although the timing still is very good and - as we all know, timing is everything.

We need someone who clearly isn't open to blackmail as obviously Cameron would be if this hadn't come out.

We know that as you say Fagging, paedophilia and initiations are part of our elite's persuasion. Perhaps its time we started to stop feeding their propensity for paedophilia by prosecuting a few of them before they die or manage to creep away with claims of alhzeimers in order to avoid prosecution.

However none of this aspect wasn't known before, its just been given the spotlight worldwide and there is possibly more to come. Were he not a cousin of the queen he might have been told to go already. She might hold sway here, but I bet she is thinking purely of her family's image and damage control. Interesting times.

They should be jailed if found guilty and the key thrown away.
Evidence needs to be found however or its not happening.
How many of those in the know could provide such evidence without bringing themselves into the investigation or being investigated as well?

I don't think they really care what people think of them. They are narcissists, they order armies to drop bombs on women and children…

Only caring people are concerned about others.

Cameron's just tagging Corbyn in. The public has become disillusioned with the political game. I guess we need a new champion to renew the faith. The timing is impeccable. Almost pre-arranged, some might say. But I'm sure Corbyn will be completely different to all those who came before him.

It may be Ashcroft's agenda, but I don't think there is a widespread agenda.

All this talk about the initiation, well that's just posh boys being twats. However, the question surrounding the non Dom status of Ashcroft, if this has been covered up, then that could bring him down. Will it? Probably not.

I didn't say that Cameron cares what people think about him, I've never thought that for a minute.
This is just about Ashcroft being pissed off with him and going for a little revenge.
Ashcroft, the self made billionaire who went to state school and doesn't even have a university degree.
As I said earlier, I'm real life friends with a millionaire relative of his who is just as cut throat in business, and will do everything legal to avoid taxes, as I do.

The people here whining about legal tax avoidance should campaign for the laws to be changed. I pay as little tax as I legally can, so what, I'm self employed and follow the rules.
And yes, ego and revenge is all this is about, but amusing nonetheless to know that Cameron is getting payback for crossing Ashcroft lol.

Perhaps there is a corrupt way of looking at this - should Cameron have accepted the donations of someone he knew wasn't paying his UK taxes.

LOL!! You could say ... that is was one way of getting him to pay up??

There are more ways to skin a cat??

We have already have Cameron exposed for taking Class A drugs

There are very many students at uni. and 'ordinary' people who

have, and are doing the same. The clubs and pubs are rife with it.

I dare say most people will have tried it at some time in their lives ....

Its almost an obligatory 'right of passage' so its hardly some big deal ...

That is as long as you don't 'sniff' or 'inhale'
LOL!!

We have just gotten rid of the elitist Labour Front Bench and replaced it with ,what many here hope will be an honest politician.

If you want Elitist just look at the current Tory front bench , I know Cameron's past history so I for one wasn't expecting any honesty but was expecting bullingdon revelations , surprised it took this long.
The important revelation is being covered by the salacious part of the story , the main point is Cameron knew about Ashcroft's non-dom status while promising to take action against non doms.

The reason for Ashcroft's revelations is simple , revenge for not getting the job he expected from Cameron when he became PM.

I look forward to further revelations as the serialization goes on.

Yes, the OP puzzled me there, as for Cameron, they don't come much more eilte. I'm not so sure about the drugs business though...his nose is nowhere as big as Osbornes
Anyway, we at least have a new name for our P.M....Streaky Cameron.

I worked in a power station for the CEGB and honestly that industry only had one problem and that was the small amount of money the government put into the budge to run our generating plant when compared to the amount of profit they took out that was generated by the industry. It was a disgrace and another form of indirect taxation. That industry along with other nationalised ones use to train huge numbers of apprentices for a variety of jobs with the experience of working 'on-the-job . We had terrific engineers sent all over the world to help other countries with their generating needs. We also had them come to the station to learn - all that has been lost.

I am all for the nationalisation of our industries again. If you look at our once owned public transport systems. They are owned now by German Pension Funds making money for German pensioners who ail be sitting on the beaches laughing at our pensioners whose funds have zilch in them. We needs these earner industries back funding our own pension industry and country not foreign ones. We have been sold short - if you think about the water boards they had managers earning a scale of salaries, not milking millions. You don't need a high flying exec demanding millions to sell water to people and the industry trained its own engineers to run it efficiently.

Uh, so let me guess. You worked for the Electric Board in the 1960's and/or the 1970's? Wasn't that a time of tremendous recession in the UK? You really want to go back to a negative economic growth era like that?

Who cares if Cameron had a sparkly past. Getting pissed up and running down the street naked, or breaking wind in church.

We complain when our politicians are robots, and we complain when they have youthful fun.

To OP - Ashcroft has written a book. Wow. With friends like him...

Ha... I didn't see this thread until but yes, absolutely.
As I just said in the "porcine oral" thread, this is an effort by those on the right of Cameron to get rid and lurch much further to the right IMHO.

We're in for a crazy few years methinks.

The conspiracy is called "sweeping the board" or "cleaning the cupboard". It's quite simple really, Camerons probably in on it, you slowly release all your skeletons out of the cupboard so a year or so down the line when you want to achieve your goal nobody can come along with a damaging revalation of your past as all the revelations have been outed and accepted.
A prime example of this was the publication of the Queen giving a Nazi salute when she was a child. Do you honestly think the British papers would have published the picture without there being something behind it.
I think the agenda behind the Queens photo is reverse propaganda. The Queen will abdicate leaving Charles for the throne. But Charles married a divorcee and the establishment made his uncle abdicate for that reason. So they have come up with a plan to portray his uncle as a Nazi sympathiser (which he was) but he wasn't made to abdicate for that reason therefore fooling the British public into believing the sympathiser story and not the divorcee reason.

Well let's tell it as it is when your the leader of a country that puts people in jail for drugs or even makes people loose there jobs for position is it ok to have drugs falling out your nose during a tv interview or alledigidly having drugs at one of your house party's putting that aside the man is now a world wide joke which I find very amusing I can't see how he can survive after his backer for ten years admits he knew he didn't pay tax but that was cool because he payed for posters party's and what not

My pleasure.
Let's also remember that one of those rich people is self made and didn't go to an elite school, so aside from questionable business ethics Cameron has nothing to strike back with.
I enjoy reminding people that Ashcroft started from a normal background because I know it annoys so many of the socialist type folk here on ATS lol.
Oh, and he has way more power than Cameron in reality, he pays the piper, that's why I find it amusing at the same time.
