Even though all of our presidents have been men, I think one thing missed in the discussions is how much affect the wives had on their presidential husbands. Nobody wants to talk about that.
I know men were abusive to woman in history, but it wasn't just a one way street.
Wives DID work with their husbands. It was a friendship too, not just a marriage.
It was like two people merging together.
Maybe men tend to be more competitive and end up in office,
but that doesn't mean woman are suddenly meaningless in politics.

Hey yall? How does that work exactly? Clinton having been in politics for most of her life is the ultimate outsider! So basically elect her to be president just because shes a woman. Um NO. I don't have any problems with electing a female president. NONE what so ever. My problems are the 'We came,We saw Gaddaffi died', The 'What difference does it makes ', Private email servers with state business on it, mysteriously disappearing emails, like the IRS. Oh yeah people. There's gonna be lots of transparency with a Clinton presidency, and hell elect her based on nothing more than her sex. After all shes an outsider. Hell maybe her and ole Biden will be on the same ticket.
Hot Shots part Deux.
Clinton has been in DC for over 30 years. According to the article where she hasn't driven a car since 1996. Lived at the White House. Practically gets her name from her husband, but hey she's an outsider.
Over the weekend new and spontaneous Hillary Clinton claimed during an interview with CBS' Face the Nation that she "cannot imagine anyone being more of an outsider than the first woman president." In other words, herself.
Well presidents do tend to have to have an over inflated sense of self worth goes with the job

We all want to get our needs met, but manipulators use underhanded methods. Manipulation is a way to covertly influence someone with indirect, deceptive, or abusive tactics. Manipulation may seem benign or even friendly or flattering, as if the person has your highest concern in mind, but in reality it’s to achieve an ulterior motive. Other times, it’s veiled hostility, and when abusive methods are used, the objective is merely power. You may not realize that you’re being unconsciously intimidated.
If you grew up being manipulated, it’s harder to discern what’s going on because it feels familiar. You might have a gut feeling of discomfort or anger, but on the surface the manipulator may use words that are pleasant, ingratiating, reasonable, or that play on your guilt or sympathy, so you override your instincts and don’t know what to say. Codependents have trouble being direct and assertive and may use manipulation to get their way. They’re also easy prey for being manipulated by narcissists, borderline personalities, sociopaths, and other codependents, including addicts.
Think about all the characteristics of ancient Babylon listed above: totalitarian, dictatorial government led by a self-deified ruler; eclectic, idolatrous religion blended with the government; strong sense of national pride and patriotism; luxury and wealth - dominates world economy and trade; by far the most powerful military in the world; powerful defense - seemingly “invincible”; world cultural center; center for world government; the “melting pot” of the world; a very immoral nation, tolerating all kinds of sexual immorality and perversion; a “party” nation, centered on entertainment and revelry; imperialistic - dominating the governments of other nations of the world.

I think that Hillary is living proof of how fake the whole political system is in the US.
Even here on ATS, there are so very few people that support her, yet she still polls well.... according to the crapmasters in the media.
It stinks.
I am torn. I guess it is a combination of stupid voters and BS spewing, statistic bending pollsters.
I suppose I just wish so many aren't as stupid as they appear to be.

That's funny.
Oh Hillary.
I have no idea how you keep surging in the polls like that with comments like this.
