I imagine many were leading empty, useless lives and signed up to live a cause. They thought it would be all glitz, glamour and marches and in the end, they'd get to settle the score with whomever put that giant chip on their failed little shoulders.
Then they got in and reality set in.
And of course we can you imagine the message that would send to ISIS.......for future exploitation?
