I certainly have travelled....and even lived in those areas!

Among a variety of ME religions ..... they are even less receptive

to religious or cultural diversity than we are.

I'm gonna have to go ahead and call this assessment false, perhaps it is you who has not traveled. Listen I'm not against helping people who truly need help, as I believe altruism is the highest aspiration of man kind, however we must be practical. We as in the west are engaged in a war this culture mass produced those we are at war with, it is utter strategic failure to not see the writing on the wall. This crisis has to be stemmed somehow wether that be a full occupation, a complete closing of borders whatever, this culture is not accepting of you beliefs or diversity not everyone but a majority inside that culture. They need to have a renaissance, an enlightenment period, otherwise the same battles the west has already fought amongst our selfs and a compromise reached will have to be fought again. Either accept this as truth or hog wash doesn't matter, this is the fact and what we are dealing with.
