Yep.

And I find it unsettling. The deaths caused by unvaccinated people are so very few and far between. But the media reports on each and every one like it's an epidemic (no pun intended). It's a complete overreach of government and is sorely out of place in a conservative platform.

I cry foul politics are in play.

If you say so... I don't really think it's that big of a deal myself.

Ben Carson may be a great and successful man but for some reason every time I see him all I see is the word preacher all over his forehead.

You also tried to convince everyone months ago that isis was not a threat and was declining in size and strength and now we see many deaths as a result of their influence growing. It makes me really question your views.

I still don't think they are much of a threat. I haven't lost any sleep over them since then. I certainly haven't seen any strolling down the street.

Though, you are lying if you are saying that THIS thread is what is making you question my views. You've questioned my views since pretty much we've known each other.

I think it's a big deal to allow the government to inject anything they want in my body. After all it's the government who regulates vaccines through the FDA.

Total overreach of government, completely unwarranted and unnecessary, and it's a very big deal.

Just take a look at the faces of the members of Congress -- you trust THEM to inject you with what they say is best for the people of the United States? They don't do anything to our betterment.

Members of Congress aren't the ones that are administering the injections.

It's probably his fundamentalist religious views about the earth being 6000 years old. Personally, I think his religious slant is just intended to offset his socialist view on mandatory vaccinations. But then, i approach the election from the viewpoint that the two parties serve different roles to complete one agenda that we aren't privy to. But we can see evidence of it all around us. If people actually listened to themselves complain how republicans don't stand up to Obama, or how democrats voted for- and funded Bush's wars, etc...they would see it.

I size up all the major candidates by figuring out the roles they're filling to help award victory to one candidate. In this case, that's Bernie Sanders.

No, they'll just be legislating who does administer them and how it's regulated.

*ahem* And awarding contracts to vaccine manufacturers.

Like I said, this isn't an important issue to me.

Fair enough. I'm not out to change your mind.

I'm watching the GOP debate right now. It's scary that Ben Carson could be closing in on Donald Trump. He's too quiet and introspective in his responses. Hillary, Biden, or Sanders would rip Ben Carson to shreds on the debate floor. That's too bad, but it's reality.
