Here's some reading for you. Very little is known of the condition, so it's all ad-lib at this point. I suspect better revelations in lieu for some of the recent breakthroughs in the neurological department.

has anyone mentioned eidetic vision yet? apparently children mostly have very strong eidetic vision memory where an image persists for up to 30 seconds or more....whereas adults typically lose this ability or at least the awareness of it and can no longer make practical use of it.

As long as i can remember ive always been intrigued by the light around the edges of things (like what makes them appear 3d or as non flat objects). There definitely is something to our field of vision and its limits and capabilities.....ive never really looked deeply into the subject because as i said im more bothered by my awareness of these things.


i suppose if there was some latent ability we have that gets subverted as trifecta said and it was actually useful for something then it might be worth developing........but so far i havent really seen any suggestions of what we could do with something like this besides the reference to night vision or perhaps seeing EM fields or energy. I can already feel EM so i think if saw it as well i might really be in trouble.

Paranoid and schizophrenic aren't two descriptions i or anyone who knows me would use.

I just noticed something which i'd never seen before and wanted to know if anyone could help me understand as my doctor etc failed.

I myself considered this as i played lots of video games when i was younger and the pattern is very similar to what an LCD screen looks like close up. That's why i referred to it as the matrix, a computer metaphor which failed and now people just assume i'm crazy. I realise it could be a medical problem however to me just find it fascinating as it has no adverse effects.

I don't have an electric car, spend maybe 2 hours per day at PC and i haven't watched TV in years.

Can probably rule out blood pressure as well as i do a lot of marathons and the increased exertion has no effect.

Also, a spiritual explanation to me is just as rational as a scientific one, the universe is a extraordinary and magical place, it's all in what we believe, people who automatically assume science can explain everything really do need to reconsider some aspects of nature. Especially with the latest advances in our understanding of quantum physics, in fact i would speculate in 100 years our current understanding of universe and place within it will appear primitive.

I'm keeping an open mind anyway, thanks for all the help people.

Yes, exactly as you discribed, but there is more, when I focus enough I see random colorful patterns, very hard to discribe.

It just flares up and dispears, or sometimes hangs there and changes color. The pattern vary from colorful magnified snow flake shape to sometimes just random shapes.

It's hard to describe specific shapes, unless I focus on the one shape, but most of the time I just observe the view. I actually don't do that anymore, but its not hard for me to do if want to. It was fun thing I did when I was a kid.

It's just facinating to say the least..

I finally finished reading all of the things said here
just out of the people who wrote here many confirmed and shared similar same experience .. people can quit saying u are making it up

when the visual turns into the things u and others describe as spiritual, relexing happy and other cool experiences I think it is completely reasonable in my own way real and for myself it all lead to higher perception

if I but stick to the snow vision itself so separating those (don't get me wrong I love the things that go along with that)

two things sticked out (can I call it theoretically) as something to take it all further

something said about 5 dimensions and

trifecta (will take me a while to decode that one ) but the something kinestetic and electromagnetic something something comment

yessir, when I was 4 years old or so....just for a moment after getting up at night quickly....I told my little sister right next to me to run back to bed.....we were on television.....ha!!

I can also see this! Although I do have hemiplegic migraine attacks, this is pretty constant - I don't accept that it is simply the visual snow effect that migraneurs see/ I also see pixels everywhere, & orbs frequently. You are not alone

I've suffered from migraines since I was a child. And every time my fist indication I'm about to get one is that snow pattern in my vision. I see patterns in the case of a severe one my vision actually focusses to a point or a circle with the patterns on the outside. Id say like looking through a telescope. This doesn't mean the world is doing this it means my brain is having problems interpreting the signals. Though your right there is a vision improvement for a while until I get the tunnel vision.

The advantage is when this start I know I have about 30 min if I act quickly I can avoid the migraine.

Yeah i've also considered this 5th dimensional aspect, as now i can see both in the old way and now this new form simply by concentrating on it.

Is this like the double slit experiment? Don't know enough about physics to really elaborate. I think the answer to most questions is "no-one knows for sure".

People will cry bull# but its almost like if you take everything else away, all the shapes, objects, landscape, background and patterns you can see like a cellular makeup, an infinite grid like structure of tiny points. Easiest to practice with the lights off and eyes closed, don't just see darkness, actually concentrate what your brain is registering. Then after rime looking at the grid you can register all light in the same way.

Maybe i'm just going crazy but the positive responses suggest it's not all in my imagination.

Yes, however as i said i can now see both ways, i have to concentrate to see this snow. Even if it is something going on in my head it's just very strange my brain now interprets the visual signals in our world as a computer grid. Whatever the cause it poses some real questions to me about my perception of reality.

I don't have snow, but I do have something funky. If I look at a screen, I can close my eyes and see a fairly vivid impression last for about two seconds until fading out, but this helps me mentally recreate the image and recall information from within it in another visual center than seems more internal.

I use this to help me at times, like the game photohunt hehe. I developed a skill where I take a sip of tea, close my eyes, open them for the new image, do a long blink (about half a second) and rapidly mark all five differences, then take a sip of tea, close my eyes, and wait for the next level.

It might sound like something that doesn't help too often, but it's part of the magic I've developed over the years.

I read that you have it and thought it is normal .. when I found out i freaked there is something wrong with my body but who knows what it can be

even that is unusual with the op is that it just suddenly happened so I continued the chat thinking you guys onthe other thread agreed its blood pressure.. i said that can not be yet i cant dismiss a few people have migraines here there is such a thing as a visual migraine without the head pain
