that's my thought, Jewish people don't need Christains permission to worship at the temple. the Romans don't own the land.

This is the kind of thing that happens when part of your policy upon conquering lands of other faiths is to build monuments to your own faith on top of their holy sites.

A lot of faiths do it, but it only really works when you can completely co-opt or destroy the previous tradition, and in the process, it gets very messy. People do not give up their deep-seated beliefs just because you plant a new building on their holy ground.

Walk me through this. We are talking the temple mount in Israel right? Sorry I'm failing to piece together a Christian takeover of anything in Israel. So is the support of Israel I see coming from a lot of Christians a farce leading to an end goal of internationalizing the temple? I mean is it the whole Christian religion or certain segments wanting to do this like Catholics or Baptists or something. Seriously I love a good conspiracy theory so I want to understand this one. I am not the most religious person so please take that into account on replies.

The Temple yes, but not the Temple mount itself, they built their own temple on the Temple mount, before the christians took over the Temple mount in 327 AD

Ok I read it, but are you saying the position of the UN and so forth pertaining to the official recognition of the capital city equates to the internationalization of the temple and that the position is due to an influx of Christians heading this up? With an end goal of what? If the temple is internationalized it seems that would only be beneficial if Christianity were the only real international faith.
