A dream I had just before 9/11 that may actually refer to the now...

Okay so let me start this by saying I'm not a "doom monger" or doom porn lover, both phrases I've only learned in the last few days here actually 😂 I just want to share something with people that has re-ignited in my mind since reading a lot of "potential Sept 2015" posts.

Ok I'm from London, England & literally one week prior to 9/11 I'd had a dream that I was visiting NYC with friends and everything was fine for a good portion of the dream.

One of my friends suggested we get lunch as "it's now quarter past two" and I remember pointing out (God knows why) that it was actually 2:14pm not 2:15... Anyway we found a pizza place that happened to be on 14th street but the man in charge was telling us there was no room upstairs but downstairs was empty... Which was odd because there was barely anyone in the place.

We went downstairs which seemed like it was reinforced in some way, like steel rod reenforced. The waiter asked if we'd "like to try the 'Bunker down special'. Enjoy your meal and watch the waves rush in." We ordered & were eating and chatting away when a screen came to life on the wall showing NYC upstairs and we could hear what sounded like a loud roar.... People began screaming and we could hear cars screeching to a halt and suddenly a gigantic Tsunami wave appeared between two large buildings in the back of the shot (kind of like in the film "The day after tomorrow", which incidentally wasn't released until 2004).

The death and destruction was total but we were safe because we had "bunkered down". A week later 9/11 happened and for many, many years I believed my dream to be an eery foretelling of that event. One day I'll explain fully, but this wasn't the first time I've had what some consider a "prophetic dream".

Anyway as I say I believed this to be connected to 9/11 just completely incorrect in the "way" it happened until all this talk about Tsunami's and the like hitting the Eastern U.S. Coast this September and I recall two things in my dream.

The pizza restaurant was on 14th street.

The time I made sure to tell my friend was 2:14pm. Or in 24hr clock 14:14.

This September marks the 14th year after 9/11. 14years after I had the dream.

So ATS. Oddly coincidental dream? Nothing at all? Something to look deeper into?

I look forward to reading all responses 👍🏼

One day, after some experimentation (that may or may not be against the rules..) I decided theres no such thing as coincidence.

I do believe dreams are important, and some times can feed us info;

But usually info that we could work out for ourselves through our subconcious.

So instead of being literal, there's another meaning..

Like maybe it was a 'gonna pee myself' dream, what with the wave and all.

Less or more but I believe in that kind of 'power'. Three days ago(Monday, 9/7) I put myself to sleep at 22:00. I had few very strange dreams but remember only one scene: watching myself hanging on the hook. Later that day after dream, I get information my close friend hang up himself(commit suicide). So, yes I do believe We have some kind of powers in dreams to predict.. but there is always too f%$&n late.

One day I'll explain fully, but this wasn't the first time I've had what some consider a "prophetic dream".

In order for it to be "prophetic" you would have to post it the day before 911, not 14 years later.

I had the dream a week before 9/11. Also if you read the post fully you'd understand that I now believe the dream to be connected to this year, not that particular incident.

I read your claim of being a prophet. Careful now…

I haven't claimed anything, hence saying what "some consider".

However your attempt to correct me on when it should be labeled as such was itself incorrect and I was merely pointing that out to you.

I also had a dream over 18 months ago about the date 15 September 2015. I have had premonitions before, but this was the first time I have ever seen a date. I guess I don't have long to find out what it was about.

It went along the lines of this - "15/09/15 (posted Feb 14, 2014) A dream which spelt out to me the date 15/09/2015 (UK d/m/y).

A dream which showed very large plane crashing near a crowd and what appeared to be a missile/object shot down from the sky into a crowd too. There were people running around with guns in the streets shooting each other and it was a threatening atmosphere and appeared to be a Western Country USA/UK/EU???? Absolute Chaos started"

Thank you for sharing. I always love reading or hearing about dreams. Whether it means anything for nyc or humanity in general, I guess we will see.

Safer that way.

"I'm not claiming anything, just posting a dream in the dreams and predictions forum, in case anything happens I can say, see?"

I'm sorry sir, not quite sure of the company you keep, however that's not my "bag" so to speak.

I've been on this forum in a previous guise but forgot all my details and am re-registered. I'm not new here nor to the formulae presented at ATS...

I've shared similar stories in the past here, however recent threads on here have prompted me to share this experience in better detail & in the correct forum no less.

I've no intention other than sharing and allowing the ATS members the opportunity to air their views and opinions.

Yours of the dream itself is very welcome, however your judgemental perception of me personally, isn't.

Good day 👍🏼😊

Yes I have seen a few people that have had dreams around and about this month, it is all a bit unnerving and I am a pretty logical guy. I am not sure what is to come, but thanks for sharing as it has made me share my experience too. It may well be nothing more than coincidence. I write on a blog when I have these types of dream just so that I can go back and look to see if any of them make sense. There have been a few that do, and a few that don't, but on many occasions can take years to happen, or perhaps its just odds of them happening fit the story so to speak.

Something devastating will happen tomorrow courtesy of some sick extremists to mark the anniversary of 9/11 (think Benghazi on a larger scale). But I don't consider this a prophecy. This is an expected occurrence. I just anticipate the savagery of the human element.

I think what I find most intriguing about your dream is the specifics of the time. I have had lots of dreams that seemed to be about the end of the world or something catastrophic - almost exclusively dealing with nuclear war or alien invasion. I think (for me) these kinds of dreams are the by-product of a very active imagination and my penchant for apocalyptic movies and novels.

That being said, I have never had those kinds of specifics in any of my dreams - the specific of 14th street and the specific of the time - your insistence that it was 2:14 rather than 2:15. As I said...I find that most intriguing...

Thanks for sharing!

So you come to the dreams and predictions board to pick on someone who wants to talk about dreams and predictions? Got it....my prediction...you're an ass.

a reply to: TheBatch
I think that dreams can help us work through problems that we are unable to solve through the normal think processes. I also think that we can be given little "nuggets" of wisdom that can be used to help us along our path.

I agree with you, with that being the case I'd then like to know the significance of the numbers and the "why/how" of the incident within the dream world.

a reply to: Jansy

Thank you for your response. In thinking about it, in the waking world I've got quite an aggressive "OCD" and I could probably put the exact time fixation down to that, however that only began in me, around 2009/10. I have in the past had dreams that seem to have 'blinkers' in them (nudges if you will) but nothing to that specific extent.

I challenged the claim of a prophetic dream after the event. As far as name calling , its also against TnC…

Failing at the time and seemingly still now, to see that, firstly the initial dream happened a week prior to 9/11 and secondly that the entire post is directed at this year not 2001...

I also didn't once claim to have prophetic dreams, I said I've had what some consider to be, prophetic dreams... When I finally make a thread explaining as I said I would in the OP, you'll understand 😀

It seems like you either don't realise your mistake, or do & are just ignoring it...
