Can't blame the people for trying to get to Europe, look what happened to those secular countries after their overthrow. Looked good on the surface at first, but the result isn't what you were expecting was it? (At least for most of you.)

Thing is, good luck to Europe's middle class. You're going to need it. That goes to your wages, unions, and hella lot better than what we have and could hope for in the U.S. vacation time. Also expect the quality of your social services your taxes had paid for to significantly drop as they get oversaturated.

Anyhow look who helped turn over those countries. You might want to say something to your reps about NATO involvement in such affairs.

and you know who acts like that? christians in syria. women, children, people that are begging for help, that want to leave their country and come to europe - but they can't. they don't have the money, they don't know how to cross the border - and noone will let them in.

You are wasting your breath, you see people like that all of the time.

What he's done is decide what "moral highground" he wants to pontificate to the rest of us from, has constructed his beliefs around that, and now will simply distort the facts & truth partly so that he can maintain that belief system, but mainly (you get the impression) so that he can call other people names like "racists" so that he (in his own mind) is superior to those people and wins the argument by default, even when he is wrong.

Usually you find that the people who act in that way are ego driven individuals who want to always be right and have a rather narcissistic superiority complex, but are lacking the intellectual capacity to win a discussion using rational thought and reasoned logic.

That's why they become minor local politicians or local government managers, heads of groups at their childrens schools, or just any job where they get to carry a clip board and tell people off....

or moderators on forums.

It's just another way of inflicting their imaginary authority over other people.

LOL, You have obviously not been to Israel. It is a melting pot of nationalities. Many ARABS, blacks from all over, Africans and others who come to Israel to live and obey the laws and traditions are welcome with open arms.

Syrians: 106,939
Non-Syrians: 136,118

The majority of them are not from Syria and there are non quoted at all for Libya.

it's not just my opinion - it's what i've said and what i think. you were twisting the facts by selectively quoting my post, ignoring everything that contradicts your 'point', to prove that you know my motives better than i do.

i could prove exactly where you've failed, but others reading this thread have already noticed. you've tried to imply that i'm a racist when i am not, you were called out. get used to it.

and i would suggest that you modify how you treat people on this forum. if you're looking for someone to call him a racist, try your real life friends - if they'll let you walk away with it.

If these were mostly christian immigrants, would people react the same? I dislike both islam and christianity, but i'd have to say Islam takes the cake for worst religion of today's times.

I usually get an urge to be bias when I hear the word "muslim" before another word, such as muslim immigrant. I try to fight it, but Islam is just such a bad religion. All humans should be treated the same though.

Having said that, not sure what my take on this is.

Isn't it funny how far they travel from the war when there is no war in Turkey or on the road? Or in Russia which doesn't give a # about them btw? Damn Russians can play chess too, can't they? EU should have thrown some money on it while in Turkey and close the borders. Outside the Turkey they are nothing but economic migrants after all.
After the first UN obstruction the EU should act to make Syria habitable on it's own and give them a free ticket back asap. It would be cheaper. She was not such a pussy in Libya. I really want a better life for those poor people but the problem has to be solved where it grows. I mean something like NATO forces on Turkish border helping to establish some huge camps in Syria and making offensives "for their protection".
