it's just - your opinions (and posts) are simply not sticking the landing for me...your rhetoric is just not, to my mind, realistic. It's conspiracy theory stuff, and more often than not comes across as histrionic

'Conspiracy stuff' ?

Sourced material is 'rhetoric, and conspiracy theory stuff'.

So much for 'trusting no one' I seem to recall someone saying.

I'd be more than happy to have a handle on your deepest beliefs, neo. But in the years I've been here, regardless of how I try, I just can't take your posts seriously. They're too - well, out there - and sensationalist.

Well i guess the only sensationalist 'conspriacy theory' rhetoric anyone wants to listen to is the crap Sanders says.

Which is nothing but parroting what the current guy said to get in to office.

How many jobs do these companies provide? How many families rely on these jobs?

I don't know...you'd have to ask the people in call centers in India, or the wage-workers in China or Bangladesh.

So you are seriously arguing that these companies don't employ millions of Americans? How can I even respond to that level of ignorance? SMH

All right, then.

I'm still a Bernie fan, though.

Now, Bernie is exposing the "problem" of overseas tax havens right?

How does the U.S. end that loophole?

originally posted by: BuzzyWigs

It's rather obvious, isn't it? Rewrite the tax code. Eliminate the loopholes. Damn the lobbyists. It needs to happen....and not tomorrow. TODAY.

How does U.S. legislation extent to foreign havens?

Not easy.

Until a "way" is found, nothing will work.

If it has to be a lib sanders over Hillary.

Silly sillies. Hillary is 100% behind a Bernie Sanders victory. So is Jeb! So is Trump!

Ignorance?

Wow.

Time for me to bow out, I see. I'm arguing that these companies DON'T PAY THEIR TAXES, and expect (and get) taxpayers to subsidize their "millions of American employees' " paychecks, because they don't pay a living wage.

Please - before I go - tell me how a CEO of one of these global "too big to fail (or jail)" companies deserves to earn 300x what their workers are paid?

If those workers all called in sick, and no one was doing the work...do you think for one micro-second that those CEOs would roll up their sleeves to run the cash register or cook the burgers or man the bank drive-thru??

That's all. I've made my point. Not going to get sucked into this silly vortex of blind, deliberate obtuseness.

Have a great night, though, Metallicus!!

Yeah, the "way" is to prevent sovereign nations from providing "tax havens" . Seems really simple to me.

yes yes, to mothermayeye, you listen.

the globalists support each other. then pretend like they are separate entities.
they aren't. they keep us fighting each other like the michael jackson song i linked above, is pointing out.

when a man can be put in jail for smoking a leaf or a woman put in jail for selling something that belongs to her (her body), but the globalists who currently have us all in a stranglehold, can sell stolen goods all the time, what the flip type of system are we voting for?

it's all looney tunes

That's a new one!!

Have you been smoking something different today or something because you'd have to stoned or crazy to believe the statement you just made.

So far the only people who are 100% behind Bernie is Bernie and the people. Not the media, not the other candidates, not the wealthy and not Big Business.

No argument there, sister.

I just think Bernie is doing his level best to keep his class, and speak the truth. He can get shut out and shot down and mocked and ridiculed and whatever, but MILLIONS of Americans are listening to him. And he's telling it like it is.

OWS was not that long ago.

(and, Jamie Dimon, well - he needs to.............nm)

You have made no point. You see only one side of the truth and call others obtuse. The truth is these companies provide salaries and benefits for millions of Americans and their families. This is true whether you want to admit it or not. Do. I care that these companies don't pay taxes to a corrupt US Government? Not really.

just out of curiosity, do the companies actually have businesses here and how many americans work there?

But they DO pay taxes, but they simply do not care.

They are far more interested in LIES.

Bernie and Obama aren't the same.

They might be wearing the same outfit but when you unzip Obama's there is a different person inside. When you unzip Bernie's, it's still just Bernie. Only, I suppose a naked Bernie without an outfit on at that point.

Ha Ha.....Yes, I planted that seed in your mind. Deal with it.

Yes that's one way.

Do we enforce militarily ?

Maybe financial aid "incentives" ?

Places like the Cayman Islands are "British". Do we make them into "enemies" ?

It's like one solution always gets a new problem.

I personally have never been so enthusiastic about a candidate, not to mention the possibility of real change, then with Bernie... I say it's about time!
