This is the here and now--HRC is running for this country's highest office, and is responsible for her actions, period. Why is it that when criticisms are voiced about the current administration, posters fall back on "Bush did it more/worse!"?
a reply to: Boscowashisnamo

Because it's pure hypocrisy! Not only that, the criminality of Bush's administration is well documented yet our government, conservatives and the media have turned a blind eye. These people should be held accountable! Just because they're out of office doesn't mean their untouchable!

The attacks against democratic administrations is blatant. I'm not an Obama supporter, but I swear, a lot of the attacks on him by conservatives are really ridiculous at times. How many conservative TV ads do we see complaining about legislation that has already passed like the Health Care Act, the recent same sex marriage ruling? Who wants to shut down the government every year? -Conservatives.

We wonder why congress can't get anything accomplished? It clearly shows conservatives are always on the attack.

So it sounds to me you are saying just give her a pass because other people or administrations have got away with stuff. Am I right or am I wrong here ?

As Boscow said this is the here and now. People need to make sure justice is served regardless of political alignment.
Everyone knows Bush and Cheney should be behind bars too. So should Bush SR. The whole system has been corrupt since JFK was assassinated, please try and tell me I'm wrong.

The reason Bush got away with what he did was because of 9/11, it was too convenient for him. Without that we would not be on the path we are on now unless some other "attack" to gain national support happened. That's why a lot more people than you might think believe it was a planned event. Just like more people than you might think believe his father Bush Sr was involved in the Murder of JFK.

At some point people need to make a stand, Just do whats right, this would be a nice beginning. She's just making it too easy, there is no defending what she has done. She's been caught.

I'm very sorry someone you identify with politically is the one holding the proverbial bag, but she is.. It's time to make sure all laws are enforced. If it were you or me we would be in prison already.

Ah well you're completely right. Since it's all Bush's fault, there is nothing to see here and Hillary totally deserves to be president.

After all, what difference would it make if all our classified crap is all over the world and every foreign government out there could blackmail her over it?

It amazes me how people are getting hell bent on Clinton storing classified information on her server. People are screaming about Bengazi etc... The question I have to ask, is where was all this outrage during the Bush administration? They sent thousand of young men to their graves in a war that should have never taken place. Even after it was proven there was no WMD's they continued to occupy a sovereign country! Then they condoned torture and the list can go on and on!

People were even more outraged with her husband Bill when the guy had an personal extramarital affair, and we spent 4 million dollars to impeach him which had nothing to do with his job! Since Obama took office, it seems like conservatives are always nitpicking at anything he does and again yelling for impeachment!

Conservatives are always trying to find something on liberals when they take office. My beef is the lack of outrage at one of the most criminal administrations in my life time (Bush) which was even pale in comparison to Nixon's administration.

That about sums up democrats and republicans and supporters. My side is pretty crappy but hey they say stuff and I like and it's not the other side. And when something comes along both sides do the oh look squirrel routine, translation it's ok that my politicians are useless scumbags because look at what your useless scumbags did.

I hope but doubt anything comes from this email issue. I still stand by my statement that it's Bush or Clinton so pick your poison. But yes she screwed the pooch hard and anyone else would be imprison or slither into nothingness but she is a politician, and a presidential candidate so I wouldn't hold my breath.

Hacking is an issue for anyone or any company, common sense says that threat/issue would rise drastically for a politician or high profile appointee. Not the sharpest knife in drawer.

This whole post is off-topic conservative bashing. Why is it still here? Not to mention there isn't one shred of truth to it..

My gut feeling on this, and its nothing but visceral, is that the attack at Benghazi was either made possible or more attractive due to information taken from her hacked server. It wasn't the information she is trying so desperately to hide. It was the fact that it has already been stolen and lives were lost because of it, and there will be more to follow.

I don't know. I've always kind of wondered if we were engaged in selling Ghaddafi's weapons to Syrians at Benghazi.

Syria has inherited a lot of saddam Hussein's wmd's, which unfortunately are now in the hands of ISIS. There was a huge multinational smuggling operation, financed mainly by Qatar, that smuggled weapons from Libya to Syria, many of which are now in the hands of ISIS. And as the US was readying to send weapons to Syrian rebels there were many Al-Qaeda and ISIS buyers, well financed buyers, waiting to purchase the shipments, and far too many rebels willing to sell.

*** Newsflash! ***

Administrations have conducted criminal activity in every single administration for as long as you want to look back. No one side has the right to say the other does it more, or is worse at it. They both have it down to a science.

This doesn't mean Hillary should get away with what she has done.

Two wrongs, or even a whole string of wrongs, do not make a right.

I for one, am tired of them ALL getting away with it, and it's time for it to stop.

If you are an American first, and a party follower second, you should want it too.

This was all so very predictable. She not only saved her career, but a prison sentence as well. I bet she had some wacky personal info on there too.

She was so invested in her own career and CYA that she more or less is willing to sell all of us down the river in the process.

Sounds like she is doing her job well then. This statement can be applied to pretty much any high ranking politician on either side of the aisle.

If I had committed a substantially smaller level of mishandling US Army intelligence, or simply restricted information I would have received an Article 15, reduction in rank, 45 days restriction/45 days extra duty, and forfeiture of 3 months pay. That's BEFORE my court martial and subsequent imprisonment for no less than 5 years.

Why the hell are political heads of state not held to the same standard everyone else?

I'm with you on that one Brother! NO ONE in the Bush admin was taken to the gallows for lying about WMDs in Iraq and the pathetic attempt in Afghanistan. To add insult to injury among the educated few Americans, the zombified population voted Bush for ANOTHER term.........
We live in a Bizarro world my friends. What depresses me the most is the "caliber" of candidates that are running for POTUS this time around. Yes, I mean all of them.
I vividly remember the GREAT TIMING on how the Corporate Welfare Handout...oops...meant "bail-out" occurred as Bushivus II was exiting and Obummer (with McCain pretending to be a serious contender) entering.
Well we are ALL peons in the eyes of the powerful and wealthy. They laugh at us from high above their luxury highrise perches.

Bush and Obama are cousins so it explains the past 15 years perfectly. The Bush and Clinton family's are extremely close so it explains our next 8 perfectly as well.

Another concern is what information was on her server prior to the Benghazi incident. There is speculation that emails detailed what was going on, including the location of the CIA annex and the Ambassadors schedule. If that information was on her server and that information was hacked, resulting in the deaths in Benghazi.....

I will repeat it is speculation but its something they are trying to figure out.

Hillary is not going to be President. I know this for a fact.

Hope you're right. She seems to have so much of these people in agencies what have you in her pocket, probably more so than Obama could ever wish for.

Any other regular joe with security clearance would have had that clearance revoked immediatly.

And in light of what has happened with Hillary that regular joe would currently be in jail awaiting trial.

But (sigh), she is a Clinton.
