Some time ago (actually I believe in the last few months), I've seen an article about an ancient tunnel driller being found. The machine was said to have looked like modern tunnel drillers with rotating disc on the front, but apparently thousands of years old. However now I can't find the news anymore. Even more, it seems like the article never existed.

But it wasn't an illusion, because a buddy who individually researches mysteries mentioned that he had read that as well. He also recalled another detail which is, that it was found in scandinavia. However he also can't find find the article anymore.

What's this all about... was this a 'mass' hallucination, or were the articles deliberately removed from the internet?
More important: do any of YOU recall any article about the ancient tunnel driller?

This is not something I read. However I would concur that several articles I have tried to reread have disappeared totally or one simply gets another article imposed onto it which cannot be removed (this one about royalty) so the old censor definitely operates on our internet. I understood that nothing could be removed, especially if it is about ordinary people but it seems possible for the elite.

Download anything that is interesting, I do, onto a separate, external hard drive that is only connected when I archive items, and the PC I am using at the time is disconnected from the web, no harm in being paranoid!
Sometimes I print off hard copy too, just to be sure, no point in bleating that one thought one read it!

Recently i started a thread about North Korea and South Korea's little games . I had 2 links , the first link was in the original unedited thread . Edited to add a second and done a couple screen grab quotes . If i had not grabbed those quotes they may have never been said as the 2nd link went straight to the first soon after . If you see it , copy it .

Interesting looking thing, but I can't say that I believe it is a tunnel boring machine. It looks a bit like one.

Picture is of a de-classified fusion power experiment it seems then. However the tunnel system story in itself is looking like an entertaining read. love how the interweb can skew you off in random directions when you have time to kill and a willing mind.

I've also ready about it. it might not be 'ancient' after all, it might be a bit more modern today, they might use technology to basically melt rock to make a nice smooth surface, why they use tunnels underground we the public dont know anything about it

Romans and Babylonians used tunnel boring. You could try googling, pictures of Roman tunnel boring.

Unfortunately no, but it looks like an interesting read, so thanks.

Yeah, it seems like this is the way to go. I'll remember next time.

there are many tunnels that no one knows who drilled them.
also according to the experts some are from around the time of the last ice age.

I saw the photograph of this machine. I was shocked after looking at it for a couple of minutes that a dumpster was sitting in front of it. Look to the bottom left and see the dumpster. I remember reading that some contractor possibly digging for an underground base discovered it and had to move it out of the way. It was a huge metal gear type device. I thought initially it may have been old rocket launching technology for turning and standing it up or angle that was required. One of the military officer's involved came to the site and saw it sitting there and damn near lost it telling the contractor he had to bury it back in the ground immediately and not disclose any information about it. I so wish I had kept a copy of the photo back in the 90's, but to me it looked like a giant human manufactured mechanical device. Without actually being by the device, I could not tell much more from the photograph. This appears to be that photo that was linked on the article above.

ETA: Yep, an MFE Magnet

MFE Magnet (Excerpted from: "Swords into Plowshares and Beyond," Science & Technology Review, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, January 2001.) Another early energy effort was research on magnetic fusion energy. This research had been part of the Laboratory since its founding in 1952 and grew under Director Batzel's directorship. In the magnetic confinement concept, the fuel is trapped in a magnetic force field long enough to achieve fusion. These systems use large electric currents traveling through huge magnet coils to produce the immensely strong magnetic fields needed. The Laboratory experimented with confining the fuel with giant magnets in experiments such as Levitron, Baseball I and II, TMX (Tandem Mirror Experiment), 2XIIB, and MFTF (Mirror Fusion Test Facility), culminating in the MFTF-B, initiated in 1981. The magnet system for MFTF-B was the largest superconducting system ever built. Shortly after the system was completed in 1986, DOE, faced with budget reductions, decided to focus its magnetic fusion energies on a different technology--the tokamak. The Laboratory then became a contributor to the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) project to design and build the world's first full-scale magnetic fusion reactor.

I recall a story about such a machine being discovered in Norway as secret tunnels were being dug out for the Norwegian government working with some other 'authority' or 'authorities'. I recall that what greatly disturbed those operating the tunnelling equipment is that their tunnel opened into an existing tunnel system that was unknown and they immediately encountered a machine that looked almost identical to the tunnelling machine they were using. There were some differences in that an unrecognisable language appeared on the found machine. Later tests were said to have shown its great antiquity.

Does that sound familiar, OP?

This is how it goes as I've witnessed it myself on Jan 2
2000. A story ran on abc at 11 pm about what I and thousands of
other people on the jam packed interstate 10 had to have seen.
Pilots coming into ontario airport also reported what looked
like a meteor. Long story short, the whole damn story was a
non event by morning. Couldn't find a word about it anywhere.
But there is a report filed with mufon.

Great story OP!
