After Reagan got in office and the war on drugs heated up under Bush things have been slowly tilting back in the other direction. In the last 2 or 3 years it appears to have gotten drastically worse.

But we've entered the "Twitter-verse". Where you are impacted by something that didn't even happen to you or even in your state. We're all "connected" now as a society so if some idiot hurls insults 3,000 miles away, you, yourself, get the butt-hurt over it.

While I agree with your sentiment, the reality is that you can't just filter out the crazies, because it is the crazies that get people to bomb churches, or literally drink the Kool-Aid, or slaughter entire populations of peoples. These types of people are the ones that we actually have to take notice of and counter before they have the ability to corrupt people with their deranged ways of seeing the world.

If it was just a video I can see your point, but in my mind things are seeming to correlate too much. Whether he is using current events to tie in with his hate rhetoric, or the the events are stemming from the rhetoric I am not completely sure.

I do know the media has whipped a large segment of the Black population into a frenzy in the past 6 or so years. Rhetoric from our leadership in the country has done the same. White people are being taught how evil they are with all of their "white privilege" and such.

Race is jammed into our faces at a nauseating rate. How can one not see it? My daughter goes to school and the English Lit teacher decides most days to talk about how horrible white people are and how much we need to hate ourselves for things that have transpired over a century ago.

I come onto this site and I see sympathizers of criminals soap boxing defending the perpetrators of violence and aggression. Casting votes of support of criminals raping, murdering, stealing, and many other law breaking activities. With the defense of poverty.

Some say that the reason for the prevalence of the thug culture in this country is due to the disparity of jobs in this country. Lower income jobs, fewer jobs, and out right loss of jobs. I can see how this correlates.

Then those espousing these points love to sit and point out that it is a political thing, it is the direct result of rich people and major corporations moving these jobs over seas for tax purposes and lower wages. I also agree that the corporations are at fault.

Yet we have had a Democrat as the leader of this nation and we have not seen things get better. They have gotten worse. More people on welfare and government subsidy programs. Obviously it is not a Left/Right thing because it exists which ever is in power.

So we all agree that there is a lack of jobs in this country, yet we still support more people coming to this country willing to live in a house with 30 other people to make money (albeit in some cases at a very low rate). We have college graduates unable to find employment because Corporations are are paying for work visas to import foreign workers. Who all will work for peanuts.

Who is controlling all of this, where does it stem from? Poverty will never get better constantly pumping more people into this country.

I live in southern GA and things are not worst as in racial issues, the only worst thing going on right now is the incredible increase of people in need of Government assistance to survive even while working.

This is creating a new generation that the only thing they know is how to live on tax payers, willingly or unwillingly because even with jobs is not enough to go around, government assistance is still needed. I(s a lot of talk by politicians about how to increase job opportunities but the only thing that is increasing is their fat greased pockets and our towns are having government scandals one after the other one and things and still the corruption goes on and on.

Those safety nets, like my own DAV program are not run by the Government their autonomous not for profit 501.3c Run by vets to help other vets. Almost all Veterans programs are that way. a real 'Us against Them" mentality

No, it doesn't, because that doesn't account for total murders, it accounts for percentage of each race that is killed by its own race. Look up the total numbers of blacks killed versus whites killed and then look at the percentage of the American population that each race is, if you really want some context:

According to Wikipedia, white people make up 63.7% (or 196.8 million people) versus black people making up 12.2% (or 37.7 million people) of America's population.

Yet, according to the most recent FBI Crime Stats that are released for homicides (from 2013), almost 5,500 white (3,005) and black (2,491) people were victims of homicide. This means that of all of the homicides in 2013 where the race was known (5,655), whites were 53% of the homicide victims and blacks were 44%.

Now, compare those numbers: Whites are nearly 64% of the population and account for 53% of the homicide victims (a difference of -11%); Blacks are just over 12% of the population but account for 44% of the homicide victims (a difference of +32%). And to get even further into the stats, of those 3,005 white homicides, about 83% (3% lower than your claim) were killed by other white people; of those 2,491 black homicides, 90% (again, 3% lower than your claim) were killed by other black people.

But my point here is the disproportionate killing of black people compared to white people--12% of the U.S. population should not be 44% of the victims of homicide, 90% of those being killed by their own race.

So, with all of that simple math put forth with links and numbers for you to look at, would you mind telling what point you were trying to make about the percentages you mentioned? Because without context, they mean absolutely nothing.
