SAN ANTONIO - The unedited version of a video obtained by KSAT 12 News showing the fatal shooting of a man by two Bexar County sheriff deputies will now be made available for online viewing.
The video will include the actual moment the 41-year-old suspect, Gilbert Flores, was shot outside a home in the 24400 block of Walnut Pass. The video also shows what deputies Greg Vasquez and Robert Sanchez did moments after the shooting. Vasquez and Sanchez are on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

Unless someone can explain the difference to me without inserting "poor innocent cops, they got a really tough job, could die any minute, it's really really hard" PC BS.

Anyone with an investigative eye can show you at around 57 seconds the suspect drops his hands before shots are fired, one if cops have you have your hands up and you drop them that quickly don't expect a warning. You could be reaching for a gun and clearly no closer witnesses so imma stand by the cops on this one. Like I said clearly shows his hands drop a split second before the gunshots and keep in mind their were two shots so definitely a takedown shooting. Looks legit to me until further evidence disproves.

I don't want to make light of this situation, but this guy was white. So doesn't this fly in the face of the black lives matter movement? Some police officers are clearly guilty of shooting unarmed citizens, both black and white.
In defense of the police, many criminals escalate the situation and refuse to follow a simple order to submit. Police are armed, why would anyone in their right mind run, argue or refuse to submit? Considering how unarmed suspects are being shot by police, it should be a wake-up call to anyone dealing with police. We can record police with cell phones and now more and more police are wearing body cameras. It's better to fight abuse of power in a court of law rather than risking your life at the hands of a trigger happy police officer!
We need to stop ignoring why some of these individuals have put themselves in these situations in the first place. Blaming all law enforcement officers because of a few bad cops is just like the black lives matter movement complaining blacks are being profiled. Well they're doing the same exact thing to police!

It seems pretty clear to me that his arms dropped after he was shot.!
Remember, the video is shot from some distance away...so there is a delay in the sound of the gunshots reaching the microphone. So, his hands were up at the time the shots were fired, as I see it.
Today, members of our local media chose to broadcast online unedited video of a man's death. KSAT 12 paid a neighbor who filmed the tragedy $100 for the exclusive rights to the video. As a result, people from outside our community have bombarded us with inappropriate comments, and today, physical threats toward our deputies. These deputies have not been charged with a crime and a family lost their loved one. This is unethical and sad. Call KSAT and let them know what you think - (210) 351-1277. If you agree, let the local media know this sort of sensational behavior doesn't fly in Bexar County.
