"You sit down for dinner that your parents worked jobs to be able to provide. Every gets a portion but you get less. Your parents explain that this is because you constantly criticize them and have no respect for them. You say that its not fair and you deserve an equal portion. You and your parents start screaming at each other. Your sister speaks up and says everyone deserves an equal portion. You tell your sister to shut up and stop belittling you"

it's more like this:

you sit down at the table, and you don't get anything at all because you're smarter and can figure it out on your own (according to your parents). in fact, you're too smart. you figure out that your parents are actually stealing the food from poor people somewhere else and using it as bribery to keep your siblings from siding with you. otherwise you might notice they are thieves and not only thieves, but they've been implementing household rules that are so strict, you are afraid you could get in trouble by just breathing. you notice the books your parents provide for your siblings to read are designed to make them stupid. in fact, the baser and less civilized your siblings are, the more they are praised as enlightened intellectuals. you notice your siblings are now stealing stuff from other poor people elsewhere, as well. you try to tell them that this is a bad thing and they report you to your parents, who decide your not only not going to be provided dinner at dinner time, but should be kicked out of the house or even just murdered in your sleep. maybe they could sell your severed head to science and make a bit o' money off your useless flesh.

Perhaps I personally wouldn't have chosen the phrase 'black lives matter' for this movement, because it's so simple for simplistic people to say 'nuh uhh all lives matter!' And just totally ignore the issues that are being raised and act like they're saying 'white lives don't matter.' Keep in mind these are the same people who are like 'the nazis used the word socialist in their label therefore socialists are nazis!' Just, people who don't want to think critically and just look at a word and don't even want to look into the actual meaning intended. But, others who are not so simplistic can actually care about the issues being raised and not get so caught up in phrasing. Funny, these same people who criticize them on these petty semantic grounds are often the same people who are like 'I shouldn't have to watch what I say PC is bull#!' Yet here they are, getting all offended over word choice, the same thing they get so angry when others do.

keep in mind they can actually read and do so. and, they can spell. dangerous people. nazis are socialists, just on the opposite side of the coin. stranglehold. one side says give us your labor or else. (That's the communist side) and the other side says, buy our stuff or else (that's the fascist side).

To jump from nazis to socialist is a nonsensical leap. Using tax dollars to provide things which benefit the citizens is socialist. Lifting up the lower class is socialist. Genociding off your citizens is...not socialist. Communism and socialism is also distinct, because communism involves the abolition of all class distinctions, whereas socialism is an effort to lessen the gap between the classes. And fascism really doesn't really have much to do with them at all, fascism has just become a catch-all term for negative authoritarianism and just gets thrown along as another one of those buzz-words that stops people from actuall conceptually analyzing things, and instead becoming all emotionally charged over a label. These emotionally charged buzz-words are a big part of what is used to shut down critical thinking.

fascism and communism are two heads on the same body. a government is overthrown, first by subterfuge and eventually revolution that results in genocide on a massive scale. then the business people have themselves a captive market. they force the free labor of the communist population to work for them like slaves, and then benefit by selling it to non communist countries. eventually, they start running out of people with money to buy things and then the nations who are thus too poor, are taken over and the cycle is repeated till the whole planet is a bunch of slaves, doing jobs they don't want to do on threat of death, with a teeny tiny group of elites.

Er...no...you clearly don't understand what communism is...that's ok, most westerners don't...you're also unfortunately placing yourself into the camp of people who just look at words and don't actually conceptually analyze, because no country that has existed that has called itself 'communist' has actually been communist, so...the closest thing to communism that has existed has been among certain native peoples, who share everything among one another and don't have class and wealth distinctions among themselves.

i know what actual communism is but that was not the basis of your disagreement. you were specifically disagreeing with my comment that fascism and communism are two heads of the same socialist body. they work as a team. whether or not it's good socialism, isn't the argument, but rather the argument is that when it's applied on real people, it's never good. communism (as it has been historically applied to the soviets) was 10 times more genocidal than hitler, but because fascists were using it as a captive market, it still proves that fascism is not good. and neither is communism (as it is allowed to historically exist). both systems are genocidal and both involve enslaving people for the good of the state and both, insist some people are less than others. this is why you see problems with law enforcement because the system is designed to keep you aware that you are a slave to the state. the state owns you. the state owns your means of production . the state is god. according to them anyway

"first we will unleash the nihilists..." (who said that? crowley or pike?)

You do know that the civil rights movement wasn't just blacks, right? Some of the people who were murdered by KKK-types were whiter than me, and that takes some doin'...

Where in that speech does he say that only black lives matter?

full transcript

How have we, as a people, forgotten what those words mean?

Many of us need to revisit the last part of his stirring speech from that day under the Lincoln Memorial...

And this will be the day -- this will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with new meaning:

My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.

Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim's pride,

From every mountainside, let freedom ring!

And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true.

And so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire.

Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.

Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania.

Let freedom ring from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado.

Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California.

But not only that:

Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia.

Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee.

Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi.

From every mountainside, let freedom ring.

And when this happens, and when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:

Free at last! Free at last!

Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!3

There is much that still needs doing, but he pointed the way. Until such time as only "life matters" will we indeed be "free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"

MLK was quite the Independent.

I think it angers the left when he gets brought up simply because he wasn't one of them.

However, he was 100% correct. His words were golden, and there has been no one since who has put it so well.

Where in any part of the "Black Lives Matter" movement do they espouse that ONLY black lives matter????

How did you manage to misread 3 words??????

"Black Lives Matter" NEVER and STILL DOESN'T mean other lives do not matter...

"Black Lives Matter" was and is a retort to those who disagree to various degrees about that simple truth.

What an idiotic argument...asking to not be shot while unarmed by police in hugely disproportionate numbers IS NOT asking for SPECIAL TREATMENT...IT IS ASKING FOR AN END TO SPECIAL TREATMENT LIKE PROFILING WITH ITCHY TRIGGER FINGERS.

AND before you start with those BS Stats on Police Involved Fatalities that ALMers like to cite in their not so subtle effort to discredit people asking for justice...African Americans make up 14% of the population...What percentage of Police Involved Homicides do they represent.

For the love....Black Lives Matter and that is not saying anything at all about yours or mines lilly white asses..

What exhausting nonsense lately...These are the exactly the same folks who spent YEARS calling Pres. Barack Obama a Kenyan...Glenn Beck on down...

I could give too sh&^s about what he claims to stand for...I know precisely what he does not stand for..

Genociding off your citizens is...not socialist.

Why isn't it exactly? Because the State is benevolent and loves and cares for it's citizens cradle to grave? Both Lenin and Marx said socialism is just a bridge to the more extreme and drastic communism.

In his summary of the estimates in the Black Book of Communism, Martin Malia suggested a death toll of between 85 and 100 million people.[1]

en.wikipedia.org...

I don't know if that includes more recent genocides and obviously does not include the massive genocide of unborn babies..... but what do you imagine is the difference between Hitler and Stalin and Mao? What is the difference between abortion in the US and forced abortions in communist China? Margaret Sanger was a Progressive and embraced all the ideals Progressives embraced including the depopulation agenda. Who espouses depopulation? Why John Holdren does, ya know the science czar?
National Socialism was definitely a branch of socialism, it just had the nationalistic thing to it, but otherwise Hitler hated Capitalism just like every other socialist and communist.
Oh yes, before I forget, the dictatorship of the proletariat involves the deliberate exclusion of bourgeois capitalists out of the rulership.

remember unions? where'd they go? the communist-fascist machine first uses tactics to undermine economies, and then destroys those tactics when they have done their job. unions are necessary but when used to destroy economies, they are toxic. global domination, first by subterfuge and then by revolution. notice how our unions went bye-bye for the most part?

that's cause the only form of communism that works is one supported by fascism (buy our stuff or else). this is why people in some states in the usa are no longer allowed to create too much solar energy from their solar panels, because it means they are competing with the power companies, who are state approved. it's also why you have to pay for health insurance or else. and why you have to pay taxes or else. and why you can't live in a house that isn't hooked up to all the utilties. and why we had to bail out the car industry and so on. these things are not so terribly bad on their face, but they are accumulative and remove real choice and instead offer state approved choice, which is a slave's options. there's no competition (and competition is frowned upon) because they state wants to own everything (and the state is a bunch of communists and fascists having a hey old time with everyone's sweat equity).
