I love my Cat and love my ingenious mother for making his cat kennal out of an old set of drawers.

I have told me Mam to make more to sell on Ebay...Jakie boy loves it better then our house lol.

He looks nice and content and cozy. Very cute!

You could even hang feathers on the outside or a catnip mouse.

He has a catnip pot plant opposite his entrance across my lawn (7 feet get in lol ) he will wander over rub his face in it and wander back jump in his Cat house and chill.
I think he gets that from me.

lol no dude Cats love to sit in tiny places it is roomy for him to have a stretch and If he didn't like it he would'nt go in it.

My cat is weird and could care less about catnip. All my other cats loved the stuff.

It was made in a couple of hours.
I told her get a bit better stuff and decorate it (she is so creative) and sell some.
She could even make custom ones that look like the owners house.

If a cat fits, it sits.

And "fit" is a very relative term to a cat.

He looks quite happy!

I like the juxtaposition of the gently sloped roof against the stark symmetry of the supporting walls. The use of color and materials are also innovative. Your mother is a veritable Frank Lloyd Wright of cathouses.

My cat is weird, she jumps straight into plastic shopping bags when I leave one on the floor, but her favourite sleeping places are my sweaty work clothes on the bathroom floor when I jump in the shower, or equally my son's sweaty rugby kit when he gets back from training or a match.
Tried a cat house for her once, ended up giving it away, she wasn't interested.

cats also love to lounge and stretch out. a lot of cats sleep completely laid out with front paws stretch completely.

just a thought. my roomates cats love to sleep stretched out for some reason.

I had cats do that too but then get their neck through the handle part and you have to chase them all over the house to release them. I don't keep the bags around where a cat can get caught in them anymore. LOL

Yep my Molly has done that as well, but I let her have her bag fun though, she even lets me carry the bag as she's curled up for a walk round the house. I'm rather childish so also sing a made up 'cat in a bag' song as I carry it.
