It is terribly disconcerting the attitude you have displayed, I think the OP was trying to portray a tongue in cheek reference to how even though some animals are off limits to them, they share a hypocrisy for enjoying the taste of other animals.

I happen to agree with the premise that there are limits and that while I am not vegetarian there are only so many animals that I would consume in dire events.

I would rather eat tree bark, too, than eat your choices, dire or not.

I haven't had any posts removed for breaking any rules, I've merely shared my opinion and perspective. If you don't like it well that's just unlucky.

Come back at me with your tree bark if you are ever in the desperate situation of sustained hunger.
If you have never experienced true starvation then I shall just dismiss your assertions as just 'blue sky I'm a beautiful caring person' fantasy land.
..."I would never do that" lines are easy to put out there if one has never experienced real desperation.
