Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said repeatedly on Tuesday that she did not know whether her email server, which was turned over to the FBI last week, had been wiped clean of data.

In a testy exchange with reporters after a town-hall meeting in North Las Vegas, Clinton responded: “What, like with a cloth or something?” when asked if the server had been wiped. “I don’t know how it works at all,” she added.

As Ed Henry of Fox News pressed Clinton on the issue, an aide ended the question-and-answer session. As Clinton turned to leave, another reporter shouted a question about whether the email issue will ever go away. Clinton turned back and shrugged. “Nobody talks to me about it other than you guys,” she said.

So fellow ATS'ers, does anyone here honestly believe her at this point? She is trying to claim now that she did not know if the servers were wiped clean or not, and that "no one talks to her about it".... Seriously? Does anyone really think that her entire campaign at the moment is completely nonchalant to this matter? Is she simply burying her head in the sand, or just trying to shrug it off? I find that really hard to believe that "no one talks to her about it".

The thing that really irks me at the moment is how the paradigm is shifting on this entire subject. At first the main debate was whether or not she used a private server for her state dept work email. She skirted around that topic for weeks before finally admitting it.

Then there was debate on whether or not she would hand it over to the state dept and the DOJ for their investigation. She finally did hand it over.

Now she has completely admitted to using it (for both work and personal matters), but is arguing that nothing on the server was top secret or classified. Of course she went through her emails and deleted anything that was "personal" and not work related (under her discretion of course).

How many iterations is it going to take until people finally realize that she is completely untrustworthy? I am appalled.

she's playing stupid do downplay her screw up
Or am i supposed to believe that a woman somewhat involved in intelligence related stuff for half her life has no idea what it means to wipe a server or a hdd or whatever?
And if that IS the case, i am sorry she should be disqualified from the race, it's 2015, i DEMAND any candidate to have at least an above average understanding of technology, given that's kinda what makes the world work today.
That's the broader problem and maybe off topic but he have people making laws about stuff they don't even understand.

People do realize it. If you're waiting for everyone to admit it, you'll be appalled forever. It's partisan politics and way too many people pick a side, like a rooting interest in a local sports team. They'll forgive anything and excuse whatever they need to, like denial on steroids. Facts are somewhere between inconvenient and irrelevant.

You have areas in the country that are so one-sided, the dominant party could run a dung beetle and win. Same as it ever was.

Hell, Charles Manson still gets fan mail in prison.

This woman is not to be trusted with our national security. Secrets will be shared like gossip at a slumber party and the highest bidder...I mean contribution ....will get the good stuff. She has shown she doesn't mind lying to serve her own agenda and thinks the average American is beneath her.

This will be plastered all over the morning, afternoon, and evening news for the next six to eight months. It will be disected down and rendered into the smallest detail.

Did you use a private email - check
Did you use a private server - check
did your aides use the same server - check
Did you erase any emails - check
Did you have any secure information on the server - check
Did you have the server wiped - check
Did you collude with your aides to withhold information from investigators - check
Is there any thing else we need to know - check
It depends on what the definition of "is" is - check

By then the American people will be fed up with following this age old scandal and will wonder why Hildebeast is being targeting about something as simplistic as the definition of the word "is". And she will still have 6-8 months to run a campaign with a clean slate (as a victim of right wing conspiracy) prior to the election.

On top of all that she will have Trump running as a independent, splitting the vote on the right and driving up her numbers on the left.

It should turn out to be one of the most entertaining elections in modern time. Even though it will usher in the ultimate decline of the nation.

Her lies would be more credible if she vetted one, picked one, and stuck to it.

Her lies are now spawning lies.

The next "admission" will be promising, "It will never happen again".

Everyone take a lesson from Hollywood. Fame is achieved by any means necessary. Especially controversy.

Oh Hillary.

The more time passes on this issue, the dumber you look. And your supporters are starting to see the cracks.

You are going to loose all your young demographic and your women to Bernie between now and the first debate.

You make a really good point. I don't like to play partisan politics... I love to criticize both sides when it's due. I guess I just have way too much faith in my fellow man (and woman - not trying to be sexist) in this society.

Thank you for the good laugh! I saw a post on social media by the ATS page yesterday which emphasized that this image will be the birth of a new meme. I guess they were right

Not really shocking since her husband bill apparently couldn't figure out what sexual relations really meant...absolute disgrace that someone can outright lie and folks still support people like this..can you imagine what a laugh she will have when she becomes president...this was a sad day indeed.

The shocking part is that it will not matter to supporters...she is a democrat and that is more than enough for a liberal to vote...the same must be said for traditional republicans..people are simply stubborn and to a greater degree selfish when it comes to political affiliation.

The very fact that she is still running for office, after the email issue and Benghazi, tells you everything you need to know about the state of this country.

I said it the other day... she'll play the "oh, I'm just a dumb ol' grandma... I don't know about this technology stuff" routine hoping her supporters have sympathy for her.

It will work on a small minority of people who think she can do no wrong but most folks aren't falling for it.

None of the NUMEROUS scandals in her past have had a negative effect on her, why would she think this one is any different?

she knows its been wiped, she was most likely the one to ensure it was, by someone who knew what they were doing....shes creating a "fall back" by saying "i dont know if it was wiped clean" so if it comes up that indeed it was, she can pass the buck, claim she didnt order it to be done yada yada thus weasling her way out of it yet again.

It doesnt take a leap of the imagination to know that shes lying through her teeth, shekeeps claiming in interviews that she went above and beyond when releasing the emails, when actually she hasnt, she has claimed she wants them to release the emails to the public, when thats a lie, she just keeps lying over and over to the public via these interviews when actually they have already been debunked, and its becoming embarassing for her.

Its no suprise more than half the population dont trust her at this point, but of course you still have those democrats attending her rallys and soaking up her lies like little sponges....i dont know wether to call her supporters idiots, or just willfully ignorant.

Actually,...Brilliant analysis.
I would love to hear Hillary supporters here actually ADMIT they now think she's lying through her teeth...but, you're right...they will just ignore the scandal and say 'Go Bernie'!

i'm surprised 'more' people using email at work, especially "the government", didnt all get trained on how to use e-mail 'professionally and appropriately' and in most cases personal email is not the same 'e-mail address' for work and business.
every person using email 'wants' security and privacy, unfortunately that is not possible these days and should be kept in mind when typing something, business and government highly classified secrets should not be put in email, phone calls aren't any more 'secure'
oh and 'rooms can be "bugged"

:sad-face:
