They did? There is evidence of this?
This was a planet overrun with giant lizards that ate all the vegetation available
Mammals were contemporaries of dinosaurs.

This was a planet overrun with giant lizards that ate all the vegetation available (out of control gluttony) and had to be extinguished otherwise would destroy the planets natural ecosystem. You realize the mammal had to be introduced at some point; when, where and what was it? It has to have evolved right? naturally from gigantic dinosaurs that are not mammals in only 15 million years. Makes total sense.
Name one.
What record? But again, you have evidence of this?
Yes, dinosaurs were denuding the planet on a record scale;
Why? Did the ancestors of crocodiles die? Did birds die?
If there were mammals existing with dinosaurs they too would have died in the comet strike.

Mako sharks are tasty; their flesh resembles their favorite primary delicacy; the swordfish (you are [or taste like] what you eat).
I have heard humans taste like 'pork'; maybe only the ones that feed upon pigs during that "cannibals ate these humans" study. The director John Huston made this remark "Humans taste like 'long pig' "; he knew this because he tasted human flesh in Africa during one of his movie shoots.

As far as I can tell you have done no research at all.
I am not doing your research for you by wasting my time on an unproven website.
So, the dinosaurs were cooking the plants while they were eating them all? Where is the evidence that dinosaurs "denuded" the planet?
Miles and miles of evidence in the geological and fossil records regarding this event (nothing survived it but fried microbes).
No. Everything did not die. But the very large varieties did. And not by fire.
Everything died

Phage: Yeah, well frog legs taste like chicken but they don't eat chicken so maybe that's a bad theory.

"YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT" holds NO meaning for you? Frog legs taste like the assorted insects they injest to me (not chicken) by any stretch of THE imagination. Some say snakes taste like chicken as well (nope, furry rodents). Perhaps that's the go to fowl to explain tastes ill identified.

I don't read posted links to the oblivion. Post the information in the reply if that important; also I do not appreciate being the vehicle for someone else's advertisement billboard for their personal agenda.
mOjOm: Are you implying that they were Intentionally Wiped out because they were eating up the planet??? As in God had to send fire from heaven to kill them off???
mOjOm: Mammals were around with the dinosaurs. Placental and marsupial mammals were the main survivalist mammal species to survive that extinction and produce the variety we have today.
Why don't you just look this stuff up yourself instead of coming here and incorrectly stating history and then asking questions about your mistaken ideas of how things happened???
mOjOm: Like this question here. You first assume that mammals had to evolve from Dinosaurs and that it happened after the mass extinction happened. Both of which are incorrect assumptions. Mammals didn't evolve from Dinosaurs nor did they first arrive after the Dinos were wiped out.
What makes you think the first mammals were lemurs?
the query was how did the mammal come about and what was its first appearance; as a lemur.
Everything died in the meteor strike including the vegetation.
